Our flight was early and the host made arrangement for an early check in which helped us get some rest before going out and leave our stuff in the property. The host also provided information about attractions in the area and helped me with finding what I needed on my first day.

Casas da Ribeira er staðsett í Santa Bárbara og býður upp á garðútsýni, garð og grillaðstöðu. Gistirýmið er með sjávarútsýni og verönd. Really cosy and comfortable apartment. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything you might need. There is also private parking, and nice garden with bbq facilities. We really enjoyed the breakfast which was left in the fridge for us (local products) and the fact that the baker brought us bread in the morning was also really nice. The location is also pretty good, just few minutes walk from the center of the village and the shop, and the Santa Barbara viewpoint can also be reached on foot (about 15 minute walk downhill). The host was also really helpful, tried to help us with everything and even offered to pay for our breakfast one morning when the baker forgot to bring us the bread. Overall a great apartment in a very peaceful environment for a great price.

What a cute little house! Large enough to accommodate our family of 5 with no issue. Had a driveway which was great since we had a rental car. Great communication with host. Kitchen seemed to have all needed amenities ( we didn’t use them as we were there for a short while but appeared to have everything needed to make and serve a meal). Excellent view from the front bedroom bed. Wow! Nice to have a porch in the front to take in the view. So awesome to have roosters roaming around. And cows in the field next door. A true small town experience. Walking distance to the Largo and to Rocha snack bar and restaurant. There was even a local cat that came around for snuggles and pets. Wonderful time! Highly recommend! Thank you for having us

Quinta do Passo er staðsett í aðeins 20 metra fjarlægð frá Ribeira Grande-aðaltorginu og býður upp á útisundlaug, garð og loftkæld gistirými með svölum og ókeypis WiFi. What a beautiful place in the heart of the village of Ribeira Grande. Plenty of cafes and restaurants in walking distance and the beautiful beach too.

Mitós Vila 3 er staðsett í Ribeira Grande, í innan við 1,1 km fjarlægð frá Praia do Monte Verde og í 17 km fjarlægð frá Lagoa do Congro. Boðið er upp á herbergi með loftkælingu og sérbaðherbergi. The host is very attentive! Daniel took care of us since the moment we arrived until the very last moment we left. Upon arrival there was a basket filled with local traditional foods and fruits, plus every morning there would be freshly baked bread at our door, and on top of that anything we needed Daniel made sure to go the extra mile to make our stay as impeccable as possible! 10/10

Casa do ti' Marrão er með svalir og útsýni yfir hljóðláta götu. Ókeypis WiFi og ókeypis bílastæði eru í boði við sumarhúsið. Gistirýmið er með sólarhringsmóttöku og kjörbúð fyrir gesti. Teresa is very nice! She made us feel very confortable!

São Jorge Spot - Alojamento er staðsett í Velas og býður upp á garð og verönd. Þessi gististaður er staðsettur við ströndina og býður upp á aðgang að verönd, ókeypis einkabílastæði og ókeypis WiFi. A well equipped bungalow at a beautiful spot, overlooking the ocean. It had everything necessary for a comfortable stay. Nicely furnished, with kitchen space, nicely separated sleeping area, good shower, and a sitting area on the porch with the view of the ocean. The local bathing area was right in front, as well as a good, inexpensieve little bar)restaurant.

LAGOON'S HOUSE er staðsett í Sete Cidades, 1,8 km frá Lagoa Azul og 1,7 km frá Lagoa Verde. Boðið er upp á garð og útsýni yfir innri húsgarðinn. We really enjoyed our stay. It was very cosy, felt like home. Got the kitchen with main amenities for quiet night at home. We’re not drinkers (coffee and wine) but we appreciated the welcome gift. Although very well decorated, it is still child proof. My 3 years old did not break anything. The location was a bit outside Sete Cidades but easily done by walk and was a good location for hiking trails and Mosteiros by car.

Mar de Prata er staðsett í Maia, 1,8 km frá Praia da Viola og 12 km frá Pico do Ferro, og býður upp á loftkælingu. I don't know how to start as this stay was our absolute highlight. We were invited to this tiny house with absolute hospitality and when a landlady told us everything about the accommodation, what to expect etc. we were left in awe. She filled a house with a lot of local products and food at our disposal which we did not expect - fruits, cheese, ham, wine, local bread, cereals, milk, coffee, tea and many others :-D The kitchen was fully equipped. There are like 3 trails starting right next to the house which we did not have time to walk but we will definitely do next time (trail maps provided). Although tiny house, the space inside is so big that it was more than enough for 2 people. Comfortable beds (we slept like babies in the bedroom), big bathroom and kitchen with a sofa. And... the terrace. With a view of the cliff/mountains and the ocean. If we could we would be sitting there all day long. Next to the accommodation there's a beach with black sand and calm waters. Close to that there's also miradouro where we were watching sunsets every day. There's also a washing machine to your disposal if you want.

Casa de Santa Catarina er með borgarútsýni og býður upp á gistingu með garði, í um 1,7 km fjarlægð frá Riviera-ströndinni. The host provided us a verbal guide in English of the most interested places to visit and answered questions, also he provided a basket with local treats, It's was vary nice of him. We glad we've chosen this place.
