We felt at home the moment we stepped through the door. Location was amazing, so very central yet quiet. Property has so many thoughtful and helpful inclusions. The kitchen was very well stocked, lovely touches were the Blenheim Palace bottled waters, lemon drizzle cake, fresh milk and Nespresso pods. Only thing you may not want to forget is shampoo but hey this isn’t a hotel! A well stocked co-op is a 5 minute walk away. Parking was easy and we had a space outside the cottage each day. This place has so much character and is beautifully furnished. An added bonus is that it is in the L S Lowry painting of the Burford Church.

I was initially skeptical about the property as it didn't seem to have many reviews but it is genuinely a very lovely holiday cottage, it is managed through Sykes and I believe owned by Manor Properties. All worries were gone on arrival. Beautiful setting and house, with large rooms for all. The village of Shilton is very quaint and near to the popular town of Burford. There are no issues with parking though the off road parking space is quite tight and it's easier to park on the road.

Plenty of privacy in the hot tub and surrounded by stunning views. Cottage was a good size and well kept with enough kitchen equipment to live there permanently. Carpets looked new and settees were comfy, decorated nicely. A little luxury - the towel rail in the bathroom heated up in the morning and evenings, so never any soggy smelly towels in the bathroom, lovely touch.
