Everything about the stay was perfect. The building was beautiful, our room was out of this world and the host, Anna, could not have done more. Our only regret was that we didn't stay longer.

Burford is a medium sized Cotswolds town - pretty, lots of places to eat and drink, local independent shops and a good place as a base to explore the wider Cotswolds area.
Burford Golf Club is very close, as is the Cotswolds Wildlife Park. Both recommended.

Burford is a great place to visit.
Burford is a great place to visit. The shops are individual and interesting and it is one of the best places for pubs with open fires in winter. It is a very attractive place with many interesting buildings. A short distance away is a wonderful garden centre.
We ate one night at the Highway Inn where we were staying and the next night at the Lamb. Good meals in both.

Beautiful place to visit, walk around, shop, eat and drink and enjoy the incredible architecture
Take your camera. There's lots to photograph.
Fantastic Garden Centre just outside is also worth a visit with lots of stores of other items and clothing. The restaurant is excellent.
The refurbishment of this hotel is exceptional and the whole hotel is very stylisti and comfortable. My room was lovely and spotless with nice little luxurious touches. My bed was sooo comfortable, I slept like a baby!
The food was fabulous - both my evening meal and breakfast were absolutely delicious 👍👍
Beth was really lovely and friendly, as were the young guy and girl on breakfast service (I'm sorry I didn't get their names 🤦♀️)
I have always wanted to stay at the Lambs Inn in Burford, as we have been to the Cotswolds in the past. I remember walking by the hotel and peaking in the window and seeing a lovely room, thinking to myself . . . “oh how lovely!” Reality wasn’t disappointing! 🥰. I love the beautiful, charming, mix of old world European structure with modern day comforts. The mixture was bucolic and inviting. The staff was very nice and helpful.
This is a pub with only two guest rooms, not a high end fancy hotel, which suited us perfectly. Relaxed environment, large, private room with its own entrance, The Royal Oak is right in the centre of Burford but still really quiet. The staff were all cheerful and attentive. Breakfast was exceptional and served in the residents’ bar by the guy who cooked it: he was great, efficient, friendly and an English breakfast master chef!
I loved to stay at the hotel, very clean and nice bed. The host and staff were so nice. The restaurant food is very good but a little bit expensive, but on taste, awesome. If I come back to the town I will definitely stay again no matter the price. Also, if you believe in ghost, you will have some company at the night in the room (I am sensible to this) but they are so chill so you're going to be ok. I enjoyed my stay there.
This property was everything we hoped it would be. Quiet, comfortable, relaxing, and a short walk into Burford. Very clean, comfortable, and easy to find. Fire was wonderful, lots of little touches like fresh milk and bread on arrival went above and beyond. Towels were fluffy, bedding perfect. I'm a light sleeper, so really appreciated the black-out curtains and silence at night.
Right on the high street in Burford, you can walk to all pubs, shops, cafe’s etc also close to other lovely villages worth visiting! Parking all along the main road with no issues at all. The hotel staff were friendly, helpful and professional. We stayed for my partners birthday and they left a lovely bottle of wine and birthday card in the room, such a thoughtful little touch!
The location of the Pheasant is perfect - half way down the main street and with quick access to all of Burfords amenities. Whilst I only had breakfast in the hotel, it was excellent and freshly prepared.
My room was situated at the back of the hotel and was perfect for one, very quiet. Bathroom was very nice too.
Little! It’s possible that I’d mistaken this property for a hotel, while in reality, it was a B&B.
It was near Burford so a plus point as a base.
I felt the staff, the 2 people I saw and most likely management or owners, did try hard but operating in reduced circumstances.
Loved everything from this hotel. The decoration is on point, the room and bed was so comfortable, with everything you need. The hotel itself is super cute, the staff was very nice. It's well located right on the main street of Burford. I will definitely be back.
Had dinner at the hotel, good choice on the menu, excellent dinner.
Breakfast also very good choice, had the full English, good quality bacon, sausage etc and piping hot, excellent.
Liked the location, small village but not to far from Burford, Stow etc.
The hotel staff were all very friendly. The breakfast was fantastic. Lots of choice on the menu not just a full English. Brilliant location at the top of Burford high street. Will definitely stay again and have recommended to family.
Exceptional staff! Excellent food also and our room was spacious, comfortable and thoughtfully decorated! Location was perfect to walk this lovely Cotswold Village! Highly reccomend!
Unbeatable location - less than 10m off of Burford high street, yet relatively quiet and undisturbed! Overall very comfortable and convenient, very clean, and well renovated.
Really good location in the heart of Burford. Food is very good.
Hotel is in a very old building steeped in history and works very well as hotel, restaurant, pub.
Overall experience from the hotel. This is a great hotel in the centre of Burford. Lovely cottage cottage at the back where we enjoyed a superb evening dinner.
