So we stayed over on a Friday night and apparently the motel is on a "main drag." Smallish Midwestern town... so of course there were the car enthusiasts going up & down the street. Not really drag racing, more like cruising. With the loud revving of engines & stuttering exhausts. We were amused that this still happened in the good 'ol US of A. Not sure if it's a regular thing or if this was the first nice weekend evening (2/23-24/2024) in an extremely mild winter (so far). Luckily for us we were exhausted, and we fell asleep easily and slept without interruption.

My (adult) son & I were traveling were traveling from Minnesota to Arizona. We checked in fairly late, around 9pm, because our previous reservation at another motel was cancelled because I used a debit card to reserve, and they also wouldn't take cash. But they recommended North Platte Inn and Suites. We mostly just needed a good night's sleep. The room was clean & the beds were comfortable. No weird smells. No noisy neighbors or hallway activities. My son used the shower & said it was great pressure & temperature. There was no breakfast, just coffee, but we weren't interested in that anyway. Served our purpose very well.

One of the toilets was obviously used because it wasn't flushed. Made me think was the room cleaned properly. I had reserved 2 rooms for my children and grandchildren.

There weren’t enough towels for 4 people. the setting on the shower head was hard and the pressure from it hurt and was awful on my hair.

When we got there around midnight, in the parking lot across the street, there was a car/motorcycle meetup happening with lots of engine revving. Thankfully, they left around 30 mins later, but if we had been sleeping prior to this, I'm sure it would've woken us up. The pillows are also super thin, but thankfully, the bed itself is comfortable.

The man at the desk was very polite and made me feel super welcome. The hotel was good for the price that was paid and helped us get some rest after a long day of traveling. It was also clean. We would stay again if we are ever in the area again. It also near a couple of gas stations and places to grab something quick to eat.

The motel itself is a little older, some things could be updated. The ice machine is hard to find, not the cleanest area around.

The staff were nice and accomodating. Clean beds, clean bathroom, toilet and sink. Clean towels. Despite the roads being close, the room was quiet.

The bathroom wasn't cleaned well, tons of hair left in the shower. The toilet was clogged, so we had to call the front desk to get maintenance, although they did get it fixed ASAP, which was nice.

It's not a bad area for a quick stay. Little loud with rooms above if you're on the ground, especially next to the stairwell. Staff was nice!

The website stated breakfast was included but there was NO breakfast. There's no elevator, you must carry luggage up the stairs. In our room at the top of the stairs, we were awoken around 2am by someone dragging their luggage up the stairs, clanging it on 2 flights of metal stairs.

The room was OK but if I knew then what I know now, I'd of probably made a different reservation.
