Hotel República Boutique Hotel has a shared lounge, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Tomar. Each accommodation at the 5-star hotel has city views, and guests can enjoy access to a hot tub. From the moment we arrived at Hotel Republica we felt welcomed despite being hot and dishevelled from a big day of hiking. This was one of the most friendly receptions we have had during our two weeks in Portugal. Nothing was too much trouble, including room service provided early from the Restaurant Menu when the All Day Menu was not available. We requested an extra night and again, no problem at all. Breakfast options at the restaurant were exceptional and the service, equally as good. The coffee machine in the room was awesome, the beds luxurious and the bathroom stylish and clean. The minibar was well stocked and an abundance of room snacks were available.

Our room was fantastic and wifi was strong. I loved the shower and that the toiletries were provided in larger permanent bottles, not the tiny take away bottles (much better for the environment). The staff were all very friendly.
