It's fabulous, but crowded -- try and pick a time when the crowds are less. The climb up is steep, so be prepared (it was May when I was there and warm). The only downside is the stupid selfie takers who barely look around at the wonderful buildings, site, and view. They spoil it for others when then can. Life is more than a camera bucket list ;-)

I was at Airotel Parthenon for business, but I was still able to visit the Acropolis Museum in the few hours I had between work meetings and dinner. I very much appreciated that the hotel is not providing plastic water bottles due to environmental reasons, but instead offers sealed glass bottles and dispensers of filtered water (cool or hot) in each floor.AnnalisaItaly

The receptionists Dimitri and Ely were very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. Our room with a balcony had a splendid view of the Acropolis, dominated by the Parthenon. The stay was very enjoyable due to the location, the courtesy of the staff, and the cozy atmosphere we experienced. It was wonderful and definitely recommended for future trips to Athens.
