Situated just a 3-minute walk from Nakasu Kawabata Subway Station, WeBase Hakata Hostel offers accommodation in Fukuoka. Free WiFi is provided throughout the property. Tenjin Subway Station is 5 minutes by subway and on foot.

The staff was extremely friendly and very helpful with some questions I had. The rooms very extremely clean (they made the bed, and I received towels every day) and small, only 4 beds in 1 room. Because the hostel was not fully booked, they separate the reservations. So, I only had 1 roommate during the entire stay. The breakfast was simple, but great!

All guest rooms in the hostel are fitted with a coffee machine. Featuring a shared bathroom with a shower and a hairdryer, some units at Fukuoka Guesthouse SHIP also have a city view. At the accommodation all rooms include bed linen and towels.

The staff were amazing, really friendly, and personable. Everything else was good but the staff were exceptional. The hostel was very clean, and the building is pretty neat looking as well. The location was within walking distance of a station and a few notable destinations. No dryer on site, just clothesline. However, there was a laundromat 2 blocks away, so that wasn't an issue. I'd recommend this location to anyone staying in Fukuoka. Great value for the cost.

Very warm welcome from staff member Domo as soon as I came in. Helped me get my bearings of the area in Fukuoka. Loved that the Hostel was able to hold my luggage as I came in before check-in time The hostel has a secure entrance to both the hostel building itself and the dorms. There are stairs but also an elevator. Cleaniest hostel ive been to to-date. Dorms were cleaned daily, and the fellow guests I stayed with with courteous and respectful in keeping the dorms clean and tidy. I appreciated how clean the building was. No mold found in the showers. Carpets were free of debris. I actually felt comfortable due to cleaning standards to walk barefoot on the carpet, a first for me. Fridge unit is in the dorms, a small area set in the side area of the dorm is available to eat food or lounge. Microwave and electric kettle provided for meals. Toilets and showers separated. 2 toilets and 2 showers available, no wait times, was interesting layout I enjoyed. Shower itself was quiet small. But the shower room was spacious. Had a bench and basket to store your items while you showered. Bed was spacious, did not have a bunk bed, so I feel my unit has an edge due to the entry was from the side and not from the foot of the bed. Hooks provided for single beds which was attached to the bed frame. My bed did not have a shelf for luggage storage but the bunks did, large luggages could be stored easily. AC was working throughout my time there which was very nice. Location was close to many convenience stores. Walking distance to several bus stops and metros, shops, malls, kawabata arcade shopping strip, and restaurants.

Fukuoka Guesthouse offers a renovated Japanese-style accommodation in a quiet neighbourhood of Fukuoka, just a 2-minute walk from Gofukumachi Subway Station. The property is 400 metres from Tocho-ji Temple and 800 metres from Shofuku-ji Temple. Don Quixote Nakasu is 8 minutes on foot.

I really liked how close the hostel is to the subway and buses. It was easy to find once I got the location dialed in. It was my second stay, and I was impressed with the staff, friendliness, convenience, and restful sleep in my cozy enclosed bunk bed. From Fukuoka airport, take the free Airport Shuttle-Meinohama to the South bus stop for the subway. When you arrive at Gion Subway, get yourself a ticket for Gofukumachi Station. Then change lines after 4 stops on the orange line to the blue line to Nakasu-Kawabata and ride one stop Gofukumachi and take Exit 5. You will see an escalator, a grocery store, and shopping; make a right, go around the corner, and you will see the 'entrance to Exit 5 and a bus stop. Go to the first street and make a right; walk about 4-6 blocks on the left past the Green Apartments. It is tucked away!

UNPLAN Fukuoka is located in Fukuoka, 1.2 km from Terumo Jinja Shrine and 1.6 km from Nagahama Park. With a shared lounge, the 2-star hostel has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a shared bathroom. The accommodation provides a shared kitchen, a concierge service and luggage storage for guests.

I stayed for 7 nights. At first, I was hesitant with this accommodation because of the past reviews. However, seeing with my own eyes, they have taken really seriously the reviews to improve the property: female-only POD room, comfort room, shower area were clean. Kudos for that! The staff were competent with English and service. They were polite and helpful before, during, and after my stay. The lounge was super nice. I would definitely book here again! I felt relief because there was a receptionist when I checked in (around 9pm). The property is just a 25 minute walk to Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church (Daimyomachi Church in Tenjin) or you can take the Kuko Line Train and get off from Tenjin station. Then, walk about 5-7 minutes to the church. Also, Ohori Park is just a short walk away.

It is a backpackers hostel, so it’s not like a hotel. It is in a shopping mall. Rooms are very small. We had a room close to the mall and there were announcements being made until around 9pm. But it is convenient location. We had a private bathroom which was nice.

Very comfortable hostel with a good amount of space in each ‘capsule’. Clean bathrooms (even had fresh bath mats for every person who used the shower - this is the first time i’ve experienced this in a hostel!). Staff extremely friendly and great location.

Great location, easy access with public transport. Nice park and walking paths around for families. Nice view from the windows, comfortable beds, clean and nice room, amenities. It is much more homey than it looks from the photos. Street noise is still okay at night for a kid, and the blinds can be fully shut down. No smoke smell, no noise from the neighbours. We removed the ladder and the room turned fully child-safe. Check-in and out was super easy with code.

Very welcoming and friendly staff! Nice layout of the rooms with all facilities one might need - sinks, hangout areas, micro wave, bins etc. Good, central location. Area feels safe. Nice common area with books, and a bar where I was offered a free drink from the hostel.

I liked how it was close to Hakata station and not too far where I needed to meet friends for my brief stay. It is in a great location that's tucked away, food close by along with the conbini's within walking distance. Everything was clearly written out. I enjoyed seeing the map of things to do. I would suggest adding cheap food locations for quick and easy snacks. The room I stayed in (6 bunk bed room), the bed given to me was great as it was on the bottom.

The best hostel that I have stayed! Location is super. Very close to Hakata station. It was a happy stay. I loved how everything was well considered and designed. The locker was big enough to store my 30" luggage and with an electronic lock which I felt safe. The room was clean and bed was comfortable.
