perfect situation in the middle of the castle, whole upper story of a house with a creperie in the basement. Very good amenities nicely laid out . the castle is pedestrian, needed to park the car quite far away, but this is not the fault of the property, the owner offered a lift with her car to and from the gate

We felt like we were staying with family. Hosts Theofanni and Christos were very helpful and informative and their passion for the preservation of the Montemvasia history and heritage was wonderful. Downstairs is a library and art gallery which was very interesting and added to the uniqueness of the property. Breakfast was served on outdoor balcony. (Extra charge supplied by nearby cafe) was substantial with the best homemade spanakopita, Greek yoghurt and honey and omelette. The hotel is very stylishly decorated. Adults only policy makes for a serene stay. Very good communication from hosts about how to get there and heads up about the rocky undulating nature of the walkways plus many steps. You wouldn’t want to be dragging heavy luggage from car into castle compound and to hotel so it was good they informed us at time of booking.
