If you are looking for some peace and quiet then Bad Aibling...
If you are looking for some peace and quiet then Bad Aibling is the place to go. It is limiting in what you can do particularly if you do not have a car. However, the trains are efficient and can get to Munich easily and usually around an hour. There are great restaurants in Bad Aibling. I would highly recommend any persons to go and visit Cafe Lotte. The food is great and fresh and the menu changes daily. The cakes are to die for and the staff are very friendly. If you want to go to a great Italian I would highly recommend Dolce Vita. The food there is excellent and the hostess Sasha is very friendly and welcoming.

Balcony looks at the yard with a lot of tall trees (hide the outside parking) that all the buildings are spaced around. Great breakfast. Travelling with a dog (20 kg): Additional Fee. She loved lounging on the balcony and just supervising everyone passing through the yard. The property is next to the woods with several walking paths, some are natural some are asphalt.

Everything was clean & working. It's a very peaceful area, close to Rosenheim & only an hour's driving to Munich or Tegernsee for day trips. Bad Aibling itself is also interesting, with a Therme and Kurpark. We enjoyed our stay.

The terrain is flat and the walk is easy. The restaurant was closed when we were there but that was fine as there are plenty of restaurants in the town. After dinner we sat out in the hotel's garden. It was good.
