We didn’t meet our host but accessed the property opposite the castle as arranged, climbing the winding stair to emerge into a light filled charming tower chamber over looking river and castle. The view was fantastic and everything was there that we might need including fresh milk in the fridge. Bed comfortable, bathroom great with automatic light after dark. There was a safety gate to prevent tumbles down the stairs especially from the single bed a step up from the main floor. Decent cooking facilities, iron, board and hair dryer. You could see the river from bedside window. Wi-Fi was good though we oldie’s struggled with the TV. Lot of automation so not clear how the heating worked but small heatwave so no problem.
