“Good location 10 minutes walk to cathedral Big bright room large bed and nice hot shower Breakfast adequate but not great choice”

  • Hotel A Curuxa Wellness Review score: 10

“This is such a great place to stay during the Camino. It’s a bit outside the center of town, but a short taxi ride will take you there in minutes. The room was nice, clean, and modern, with a great bed and everything you need to be comfortable. The pool was a big plus for us; the cold water was the best medicine for our tired legs. We slept so well, and the next day we were rested and ready to continue. They have a bar/restaurant which is great for chilling on the terrace. Also, the girl at reception was super nice and helpful with organizing our taxi the next day and attending to our questions and requests. Loved our stay here!”

    “Location and cleanliness”

  • Casa Rural Vella da Rivera Review score: 10

“We loved the beautiful quiet location ( not too far from the Camino path). The hosts Diego and Xin made us feel so welcome , with many little touches- chocolate in pillow, free bottled water in the room, free toiletries. Xin made us a fabulous evening meal which we enjoyed with other pilgrims. Real care and attention to detail was given by this lovely couple. Xin took us to the woodland path short cut to Camino the next morning.”

  • Santaia en Casal de Calma Review score: 9

“Overall, it’s a beautiful place. While not the most comfortable, the room was quite big, and the private bathroom, although old, had its charm. The attention from the girls at reception was amazing! Our room was between what seemed to be the main entrance and the reception, so there were many people knocking on the door, which was super annoying. Unfortunately, we were not able to enjoy the restaurant as it’s closed on Monday and Tuesday, but the menu and comments seem super good! I would stay here again, hopefully in another room. 😀”

  • TEIRABOA BASE CAMP Review score: 10

“Everything as described. Professional. Unique experience with a cottage. Don't hesitate - this is the place to be. Shout-out to the guy at the front desk. He was very kind, professional and utterly helpful. Thanks, man!”

  • THOSTEL Review score: 9

“Clean and tidy hostel close enough to the centre of Santiago (about 25 minutes walking).”

  • Hotel Costa Atlántica Review score: 8

“An older style hotel, and quite basic, but very adequate and had everything we needed for a couple of nights stay. Room was spacious and, whilst a little dated, was clean and tidy. Bed was a little hard but comfy, and duvet & pillows were new and nice. The cafe and restaurant attached to the hotel is fabulous - very busy full of passing locals and the food is excellent. We ate both nights at the hotel - superb 'home cooking', filling and plentiful with the menu changed daily. Very reasonable prices and excellent quality - a real surprise!”

  • Albergue Oceanus Finisterre Review score: 9

“Very hospitable, clean, updated with 8 beds together in separate groups. Great bathrooms and common area.”
