Hostel is the furthest point in Vik from the beach, but it has a nice view from a slope of a hill.being on the edge of town has also a big plus - just few strides away it is dark enough to see the starry skies and, if you are lucky, you can easily see the northern lights. Staff was super friendly and breakfast was really good.

The bar had amazing cocktails, Great location, Kitchen is fully equipped, Bathrooms where clean and had lots of them so no waiting time. Loved that they had board games to play in the common areas. Staff was super nice and the location was perfect.

Busy, but it's a great location, just a few minutes from the black sand beach and basalt columns. Fantastic sunset from there. The room was so spacious (I had a double room), and the bed was SO comfy! The kitchen was spacious and well stocked with all the appliances you'd need. Obviously, the issues of shared bathrooms...waiting for showers, etc, but overall, I highly recommend The Barn.JamesSolo traveller

There were sinks outside the toilets which were good for cleaning teeth. I didn’t have to wait for the showers or toilets, and they were nice and clean. The kitchen area was nice too
