Alice is a wonderful host. She was very helpful with organizing transport to the Caldeira. She also offers to do laundry for free, which I found very nice. The house is on the hill, offering a nice view on Pico and surrounded by a well-kept garden. The walk from the harbour to the house is a bit steep. I considered it to be a nice workout but for some people it may be easier to reach with a car.

The room, bathroom and kitchen are very well equipped. There are many small details everywhere, it's one of the best hostel/appartement I ever seen. Thanks for this very plaisant stay !

I felt welcome immediately, the room was great and all the facilities and the breakfast as well. They even let me check in earlier, so I was able to go there immediately after I arrived which was so helpful. They also arranged a taxi for me to get me to the airport.

Very clean sweet renovated home. Everything we needed was there. The bedroom was small with private bathroom and air conditioning , it met our needs . There is the option to sit outside and the shared space is very inviting . It feels like home . I would definitely come back again !

The room was serviced every day and fresh towels provided. Breakfast was good - fresh fruit and juice, cornflakes, yoghourt, ham, cheese, hard boiled eggs and fresh rolls, a griller to toast your cheese and ham roll. There were tea infusions and many ways of making an excellent cup of coffee. The staff were very friendly and helpful..

Good location, very close to the ferry and a little away from the city center so it was quiet at night, but still possible to walk to the city center/Marina in 20 minutes. The host was very nice and helpful and very Quick to answer when We had a question. The washing machine and outdoor drying area was really nice. Helped us travel light :-)
