Jose the host is great, hospitable and very relaxed and the apartment has everything you need in life. It's genuinely an apartment suited for living, if it was your home, you wouldn't be missing a thing. It's also located within walking distance of more or less all of the livelier and more important bits of Funchal. You have bus stops, restaurants and grocery shops near you. I loved my stay here and would highly recommend it. P.S. if you're a light sleeper, bring ear muffs. Funchal is a very hilly city and the night traffic can get loud. This is not a fault of the apartment as this is a characteristic of the whole city, just a friendly recommendation.

Boasting city views, Villa Mármore features accommodation with a garden and a patio, around 2.2 km from Almirante Reis Beach. I totally recommend Villa Marmore for a trip to Madeira! The location is 7 minutes by car from Funchal city center and 15 minutes by foot. It is a new house and it looks exactly like in the pictures. Just note that one of the bedrooms has the bathroom inside the room, with no door between them. So this room can only be taken by a couple.

Wonderful location - beautiful view every morning, with a bakery and supermarket round the corner. Bright, spacious apartment with fantastic amenities - the pool/hot tub was a definite highlight. Rodrigo was extremely helpful and attentive throughout our stay.

Clean and modern apartment within the walking distance to the city centre and with a good connection to the main road of the Island. It has its own parking spot in the garage, all the necessities for the long term stay (washing/drying machine,...) and the small market behind a corner.
