Also the hotel itself doesnt take many guests so hardly get to bump into any other guests- feels like I own the whole place for myself almost.

I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who enjoy authentic Japanese style meals and hot spring. The family run this hotel with a lot of thoughtful care and hospitality. The traditional Japanese meals were authentic and served with fresh Hilda beef and local vegetables. As a hot spring lover, the hot spring were beyond expectation. There are private room and shared room for hot spring, and they all have great view of quiet forest. (It was snowy the day I came, and the experience of bathing hot spring in a snowy forest was superb.) The owners are very friendly and kind!

Offering free flowing spring water from two different hot springs and ski storage space, Oyado Eitaro is set in the Okuhida Onsen district in Takayama. Free private parking is available on site. Hotel is just 2-3 minutes walk from bus stop with nice private onsen. Both breakfast and dinner are excellent and delicious.

Ubytovanie Hirayukan sa nachádza v destinácii Takayama 35 km od miesta Železničná stanica Takayama a 37 km od miesta Skanzen Hida Minzoku Mura. Lovely Ryokan in the heart of Hirayu, very close to the bus stop. The Japanese style room was beautiful and large with a serene view overlooking a pond. Everything was comfortable and clean. The onsen had stunning mountain views and the male/female areas swap each day so you can experience different views of the mountains. The buffet breakfast had a huge range of both Western and Japanese food. It was a relaxing and special stay for us.

Located north of Hirayu Hot Spring Ski Area and a 1-minute walk from Hirayu Onsen Bus Terminal, Tsuyukusa boasts an on-site natural hot spring. This place is beyond incredible. Located a few minutes walk from the bus station, the house is traditional and lovely. theres an outdoor bath made of wood in the top floor, which you can lock after you and have full privacy. there's also another 2 lovely indoor baths at the entrance floor, where you can also be alone. shared kitchen with free coffee and tea, the rooms are super cozy and the views are breathtaking. they even give you wooden blocks you can write wishes and leave at the shrine not too far from there, for free. Would definitely come back!

Very beautifully conceived and all hallways decorated with large vitrines with the most extravagant and beautiful pieces of antiques!! From beautiful sculptures and vases to exquisite carvings and other large and small objects!! Room very large (VERY large for Japanese conditions!!) very nicely decorated and comfortable!! Private Onsen bath on open air !!! What a pleasure!! Dinner and breakfast were SUPER!!! Absolute must to take dinner!!! Absolutely delicious for taste and eyes!!!
