This 4-star hotel offers room service and a 24-hour front desk.... I made a request prior to stay in a calm room, and they made it happen beautifully. All staff was very kind and lounge is nice. I highly recommend this hotel.

Fantastic location, helpful staff, great amenities, gorgeous room. Convenient coin laundry. This room had everything I could’ve asked for and a wonderful bath if we could have spent our entire stay in Japan in this room but also seen all of the other cities we travelled to that would’ve been the best of both worlds.

Perfect location! Would definitely book here again! Loved it a lot, everything was doable walking distance, lots of restaurants around

The location is perfect if you would like to walk around to the nice canals at night. We didnt book breakfast but there is a blue bottle cafe inside the hotel which was convenient.

Hyatt Place Kyoto features a restaurant, fitness centre, a bar and shared lounge in Kyoto. Japanese hospitality! Need to say more? Extremely clean and well organized. The location is more like a quiet area, not too many shops/restaurants/bars nearby. But if you are willing to walk 15 minutes, you can find more. The hotel entrance is sitting at the subway exit (6), so it's very convenient to access (well maybe expect when you need to carry your luggage up the subway stairs). The staff are nice, helpful and accommodating. Kudos for the modern coin laundry on-site.

Featuring a fitness centre, a restaurant as well as a bar, KAYA Kyoto Nijo Castle, BW Signature Collection by Best Western is located in the centre of Kyoto, 700 metres from Nijo Castle. Location near castle makes it convenient to get back to after tours. Amazing and newly renovated interiors make for a lovely stay. Also has a gym which I’ve found to be a bit more rare in Kyoto hotels.
