The place was really clean and pleasant. The room was excellent. The best was though the friendly staff that had some truly excellent ideas on what to do during our stay. We also gained some super help to get to the boat in time.
Everything went really well and we will definitely come to this hotel again. We have nothing to complain about.

Clean, friendly hotel within walking distance of shops, restaurants and the ferry.
The hotel was closing for the winter the day we left so it was very quiet.

Claudio and his family are very nice and go out of their way to make sure guests are pleased. Claudio knows the island and dropped us off at the start point for our walks ... we always felt very secure. The island too is full of friendly sociable people!

The island of Lipari is the perfect location if you are looking to escape the mainland. Relaxing, refreshing, rejuvenating. Be sure to rent a scooter to make your trip more convenient. I recommend to travel around the island after the beach for sunset, it takes about 1 hour to do the whole loop.

Excellent cathedral on the hill with historic excavations of the bronze age dwellings, amazing.

Great views from various places on the island.
Great views from various places on the island. The beaches are really nice and the water is crystal clear. You need a car although there seems to be some public transport/buses, too. A place to visit is the old town of Lipari. There are many good restaurants in lively Canneto or Lipari. You may want to go to Acquacalda if you prefer a quieter environment.

March is not the best period of the year to go there (most of the restaurants and services are closed).
I think June and September should be the right time to visit the isle.
Great place to make some trip around: just walk up to one of the hills to get some incredible view of the See, the Aeolian Isles and even the Etna volcano!
We absolutely adored this property, it became like a home to us. Marcello and Paola are the most wonderful hosts, knowledgeable, kind, generous and welcoming. We had the room upstairs and it was divine. The home prepared breakfast in the morning is really something to look forward to, absolutely amazing! For us, staying at Al Salvatore Di Lipari, was an immersion in Sicilian culture, we would not consider staying anywhere else if and when we return to Lipiri. We are so grateful to have had this travel experience.
Excellent quiet location close to the center with a free shuttle that goes often. Staff were excellent and very friendly. Room was large with a great balcony. Pool was beautiful and well equipped. Breakfast was excellent. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. This hotel seemed to attract many Italian locals and from around the country which made our experience even more special. Don’t hesitate to book a room here! We stayed for 6 nights and loved it!
It was a big flat with plenty of space, very clean, and very well appointed. The position is perfect in the middle between the town of Lipari and the beach of Canneto, you can walk both distances in about 20 min. (but mind the Italian traffic... 😉). The best of all is the huge terrace with a great view over the port and the town of Lipari. And last but not least: The host Ersilia is really nice, she was very helpful with all the questions we had.
This is probably one of the better value accomodation options in the island - somewhere between unaffordable luxury hotels and rather too basic B&B or holiday accomodation. The garden around the property is beautiful and the layout provides a great atmosphere. The staff are helpful and courteous. I was surprised about how quiet it was, although the property is located in town. I also noted the cleanliness.
Luigi and Stephanie were fantastic hosts! They make you feel at home. There are lots of animals playing around the farm - cats! dogs! donkeys!
The location is up in the mountains with a picturesque view of Lipari and the sea. It was nice to be able to retreat from the touristy center at night.
Since it's up in the mountains, it's best to rent a scooter/car for transportation!
This was a luxury stay. It has a fully stocked kitchen. This is a great location to explore the other islands and drive around the island of Lipari. I would recommend a stay of several days to really enjoy the experience. The host met us at the ferry and drove us from town and back several times to rent a car and get us settled. The site is exceptional.
The rooms are very nice. Offered the widest variety of options for breakfast during our entire stay in Sicily. There was also a nice hammock chair. The hosts are extremely friendly and helpful; they took care of picking up our lost luggage. They also gave us some great hiking hints, such as the Osservatorio. Well worth the visit!
Gorgeous room next to Lipari Castle and seaside. The hotel is very nicely redecorated and the room is new, modern, cosy and sparking clean. Bathroom was big and we had a very nice balcony (even if we had a room overlooked a side street). Breakfast was good, customised and carefully prepared. Great hospitality and exquisite host.
The view from our room over the ocean was great. Sure, the hotel has a 60's/70's aesthetic but that's its charm - it completely matched my expectations and was similar to the standard of other accommodation we had in Sicily. Great pool, great food and staff went above and beyond to make it a great stay.
Great hotel in Lipari. Super super clean and all white and blue. Very central and easy to walk to everywhere in Lipari. Very nice staff and they pick you up from the ferry as well! We had a really nice room with very nice view of the hills as well! super recommended!
Beautifully located hotel with attractive gardens, pool, and surroundings. An extensive breakfast was prepared each morning, and housekeeping attended to the rooms each day, providing clean towels. 10 minute walk to the central waterfront of Lipari town.
Was nice stay at Canneto (should be quietter than Lipari and it was true). Bus from/to Lipari is frequently available. Actually we took an excursion to Stronboli from Lipari, coming back to Canneto mid night. A nice view from apartment.
Everything!
Surrounding is very quiet (while at 5min from city center)
View is awesome
Breakfast is delicious and rich.
Kindness of the staff
And this old family house is a beautiful sight of Lipari.
The staff at the reception is fantastic. We have received a warm welcome and many recommendations. The room was very clean and the breakfast was best we've had on Sicily so far.
A beautiful hotel with phenomenal views of the sea and mountains. A great spot rest and relax. Super close to the port, beach, restaurants, and grocery store.
The unit was perfect for my time in Lipari! Well stocked with everything anyone could need. The location is great and the rooftop terrace is really nice!
