The place was really clean and pleasant. The room was excellent. The best was though the friendly staff that had some truly excellent ideas on what to do during our stay. We also gained some super help to get to the boat in time.
Everything went really well and we will definitely come to this hotel again. We have nothing to complain about.

Clean, friendly hotel within walking distance of shops, restaurants and the ferry.
The hotel was closing for the winter the day we left so it was very quiet.

Claudio and his family are very nice and go out of their way to make sure guests are pleased. Claudio knows the island and dropped us off at the start point for our walks ... we always felt very secure. The island too is full of friendly sociable people!

A beautiful place to stay. Easy to navigate, great waterfront access, excellent transport. Plenty of local eateries ranging from takeaway to sit down dining. The room I stayed in was fantastic. Would stay again and extend my visit plenty more to see and do.

The island of Lipari is the perfect location if you are looking to escape the mainland. Relaxing, refreshing, rejuvenating. Be sure to rent a scooter to make your trip more convenient. I recommend to travel around the island after the beach for sunset, it takes about 1 hour to do the whole loop.

Excellent cathedral on the hill with historic excavations of the bronze age dwellings, amazing.

Great views from various places on the island.
Great views from various places on the island. The beaches are really nice and the water is crystal clear. You need a car although there seems to be some public transport/buses, too. A place to visit is the old town of Lipari. There are many good restaurants in lively Canneto or Lipari. You may want to go to Acquacalda if you prefer a quieter environment.

March is not the best period of the year to go there (most of the restaurants and services are closed).
I think June and September should be the right time to visit the isle.
Great place to make some trip around: just walk up to one of the hills to get some incredible view of the See, the Aeolian Isles and even the Etna volcano!
Very nice apartment on the main street, 2 minutes from the ferry and the old town too.
The kitchen-living room looks on the main street with a balcony.
The kitchen is well equipped.
One of the bedrooms looks on a nice back garden, therefore it is very quiet (despite the nights are loud in the city).
The other bedroom doesn't have a window, but it can be seen as an advantage as it quiet too.
There is a washing machine and even detergent in the bathroom (very useful as it was our second week in Sicily).
The appartment was a great location to base a family in Lipari. It had a great outdoor space, pool to see the kids and was a 5 min walk to the beach of Canneto. It was well stocked with everything we could need to eat outdoors, relax and explore the island. Our daughter stayed on the sofa bed in the kitchen which worked well. It was a nice cool space during the hot afternoons too. There was an amazing view of the sunrise too over the beach - well worth getting up early for.
Excellent quiet location close to the center with a free shuttle that goes often. Staff were excellent and very friendly. Room was large with a great balcony. Pool was beautiful and well equipped. Breakfast was excellent. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. This hotel seemed to attract many Italian locals and from around the country which made our experience even more special. Don’t hesitate to book a room here! We stayed for 6 nights and loved it!
It was a big flat with plenty of space, very clean, and very well appointed. The position is perfect in the middle between the town of Lipari and the beach of Canneto, you can walk both distances in about 20 min. (but mind the Italian traffic... 😉). The best of all is the huge terrace with a great view over the port and the town of Lipari. And last but not least: The host Ersilia is really nice, she was very helpful with all the questions we had.
The hosts welcomed us already at the near Piazza and brought us to the accommodation. They are very nice and helpful. The Casa Annina is about 15 minutes by walk from the port where the ferries from Milazzo arrive and very close to Marina Corta where the boats leave for excursions to other islands. Supermarkets are near and all sights in the town of Lipari are easy to reach by walking. Internet is included and very good.
This hotel is beautiful. Fabulous sea views from the bedrooms, pool area and restaurant. It is a short walk into town or you can catch a taxi for €15 to anywhere in town if you are too hot or not great on your feet (we visited with grandparents and small children so took the taxi a few times). The people who work there are fabulous and couldn’t do enough for us. We all absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Mea.
It was exactly as I expected. It cannot be compared with hotels in Western Europe. It's authentic. Tucked away in an alley not far from the smaller port. There is a small shop right next door and 70m further restaurants and bars in what I think is the most beautiful part of the city. The locals are very nice and helpful. I love the place where they live and I know almost everyone on the island.
Beautiful hotel decorated with a wonderful collection of antique items that lend it a feeling of character. Nice bar and garden. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and the place was comfortable for a stay on Lipari. It's a little outside of the main historical quarter, but only a couple streets away. Breakfast was very good, with an assortment of gluten-free items as well.
This was a luxury stay. It has a fully stocked kitchen. This is a great location to explore the other islands and drive around the island of Lipari. I would recommend a stay of several days to really enjoy the experience. The host met us at the ferry and drove us from town and back several times to rent a car and get us settled. The site is exceptional.
It is a very short walk to this lovely b&b from the small harbor at Lipari. the hosts are very welcoming, the room is nicely decorated and a very good bathroom, fresh feeling with all whites and blues ! Breakfast was served inside (only day of rain we had on our 3 week stay in Sicily) with very good fresh local products, all you need.
Great view over pool from balcony. Loved the extra sitting room in our suite. The welcome drink upon arrival was a nice touch. Breakfast options were plentiful and poolside sandwiches/snacks were very good. Concierge was very helpful arranging a jeep so we could tour the island before our boat trip to Stromboli and other islands.
Everyone in Sicily is so welcoming, but the host here is exceptional! They also went far and beyond for whatever we needed or wanted - lift, tips, massage, reservations …
the apartment itself is beautiful and the view (terrace and bedroom) is a dream - you can almost see sunrise and sunset.
A magical place! With breathtaking views of Lipari. The home is completely private, even though the owner shares part of the building. clean and comfortable with everything you need to enjoy your stay. A bit pricey, but worth every penny! We will definitely be returning.
Bartolo is a fantastic host. The appartment is quiet but just off the main street in Lipari with lots of options for restaurants and a few steps from sights. You must take the boat trip to Stromboli for a great day out between islands.
great location easy access to the pears to take the boat and discover other island. shop are close by and it’s still quiet. the breakfast is amazing with large choice of cakes and local product. the staff is super helpful.
Great welcome at the hotel where we were invited to a complimentary drink. Best eggs ever and they even helped with booking a great boat trip around the Aeolian Islands. The sea view from the pool is amazing.
The proximity to the impressive museum and to the major street of Lipari and the size of the room, with its large terrace and hammock, made this a great base.
The hotel was beautiful and very easily located to the port and main street to eat or shop.
The girls at front desk were extremely helpful and friendly.
