A beautifully stylish and impressive establishment. Excellent decor throughout. Wonderful bars and restaurants. Our Dinner was absolutely superb. Breakfast was included in our room rate and was plentiful and delicious with a comprehensive range of items to suit everyone. The staff were utterly delighted and could not do enough to make our stay extremely enjoyable. Our room was spotless and comfortable. On-site free parking provided. We would definitely return.

Henley is such a memorable town for us as I was at school there and grew up in the area. So for me it is well worth visiting.
We were disappointed with the river as it has (like so many other rivers) been flooded this year so we could not go for our usual walk along the River Thames which is so amazing.

Great place to walk around and see the boats on the river Thames, lovely old pubs and restaurants.
Probably would get very overwhelmed when the Henley regatta is on. Car parks could get a little overcrowded.

Fantastic location for the Rewind South 80's festival,...
Fantastic location for the Rewind South 80's festival, didn't get to experience much that the rest of the town had to offer.
Seemed to be a general disconnect between the event management who knew how many tickets were sold, and the council/private business in providing services to accommodate that size crowd. For example: (1) event itself was cashless, but riverboat transport to & from only took cash, and no working ATM's in the town. This caused a lot of issues for a lot of people. (2) No temporary lighting along the river path despite knowing the path would be used by hundreds of people each night in the dark. The path is very narrow and not maintained in several places. (3) Disconnect between the advertised times of the boat service in the event literature vs the actual running times, left groups of people stranded last thing at night, then having to walk back along that very dark path

Beautiful town, with lovely small shops and very good restaurants. My daughter just moved here so we are delighted. It feels very safe and it is very clean. The Regatta was on so we enjoyed one day there and currently there is a music festival on. SO its rather busy right now.

A lovely little town to walk around especially along the river. You don’t need more than half a day unless you want to explore places outside the center. It has good boutique shops but no high street cheap fashion brands as it’s quite an upmarket little town. But it does have Boots, W H Smiths and Starbucks and a lot of good choices for eating. Have breakfast at Bijans, take a long walk along the river, lunch at The Bull, walk around the town and the dinner at The Giggling Squid.

The hotel was outstanding, with character good service wonderful location, great staff and perfect food. It exceeded our expectations and we have very high expectation, booking 4/5 star accomodation UK and abroad and 4/5 star cruises. I love Henley and cannot praise the Phyllis Court enough in providing a very high standard stay with out any stuffyness. We had visitors one day and had a totally relaxed time in the resaurant and later in the lounge, we were not rushed at all and had the ideal location for a lengthy catch up. Fantastic.
The hotel is very overpriced. Apparently having a large bathroom and a large bed signifies "luxury". The bathroom was indeed large but did not have a shower. The bins weren't emptied one day, and no water left on one day. It did not have a private entrance or a garden view as booking.com states. The "oldie worldieness" was lovely, but certainly not luxury,
Quirky old hotel in a great location. Friendly staff, clean and comfortable. Good value stay and breakfast. No onsite parking, but free overnight local parking nearby.
Because the building is old, the rooms are situated along a corridor with a number of uneven levels meaning there are a number of short staircases and one steep staircase.
Lovely little cottage in a brilliant location. Quiet spot despite being so close to town centre. Very well equipped kitchen. Double room really comfy. Not the weather for outdoors, but the backyard was really sweet. I often visit Henley and the hotel options are so limited, if you don’t want to pay £££ It was a really good alternative!
Traditional pub with rooms on quiet street near the centre of Henley, a stone’s throw from public car park and many restaurants and cafes. There was a warm welcome from staff who phoned in advance to check when we would be arriving. This is the opposite of a corporate hotel, the room had everything we needed and was bright and clean.
Lovely room overlooking a very pleasant walled garden. Very close to Henley for eating out.
Very nice breakfast bar area, we had a choice of four different breakfasts. Although we had to wait a while for breakfast to be served!
We had to leave quite early so it felt a little slow the service!.
But we would be glad to stay again
Can't fault any part of the hotel facilities or staff, beautiful place to stay. It was my partners birthday and I had organised for flowers and they were in he room together with a lovely card from the staff. She was made to feel very special.
We were attending a festival in the area and would not get to the hotel until very late but we were provided with all of the information that we needed to access the room. The room itself was very comfortable and the breakfast was very good.
Location was excellent, if we had stayed for longer we would have definitely sat outside in the courtyard too. Easy to find, a clean and lovely place to stay. Would definitely recommend. Henley is a lush place too, definitely worth a visit.
My husband ate the breakfast each day & thoroughly enjoyed it. Dorothy on Reception was amazingly helpful , also very polite & friendly. The hotel was perfectly located in the centre of Henley. I asked for a quiet room & that was provided .
Charming spot in a charming community. It can't help but be close to everything. Kitchen with microwave, toaster, coffee maker, kettle, and implements. A clothes washer (no dryer) is built into the kitchen. Outdoor area available.
The hotel is beautiful - a sensitively restored former brewery. I loved the many different areas - bar, snug, restaurant, courtyard. The room was well appointed, with large bathroom and comfortable bed. The bartender was brilliant
Beautiful old hotel with restaurant. The rooms were nicely designed and the bed was comfortable. it is set in a wonderful location with sweeping views. The server Charley was very accommodating and made the stay special.
The location was perfect & the staff were all so friendly & professional!
We especially enjoyed Iaona!! She’s the perfect ambassador for such a wonderful hotel!!
Was a lovely hotel .and staff lovely and the reception staff so nice anything you asked them you needed they get. Really enjoyed .a lovely place to stay
