Room was very comfortable and everything we needed was well catered for.
The Bathroom was modern and shower was great. Our only criticism would be the noise of the traffic waking us up at 5am each morning but that wouldn’t stop me from booking this hotel again in the future.

An absolute treat staying in a beautiful, historic inn! Rooms were beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was terrific. The location was ideal, just out of Burford, so parking was easy. Property is on a walk trail and we loved the walk - it took us through green fields and past old homes, for a terrific Cotswolds experience!

Property was on main road so expected some noise but at night it was great. Room was tired and needed some TLC. Breakfast was lovely, but menu was limited for daytime, i.e. burgers pizza etc. Room was clean, lovely hot water. New owners this year so hopefully working towards giving it a bit of a revamp.

Burford is a medium sized Cotswolds town - pretty, lots of places to eat and drink, local independent shops and a good place as a base to explore the wider Cotswolds area.
Burford Golf Club is very close, as is the Cotswolds Wildlife Park. Both recommended.

Burford is a great place to visit.
Burford is a great place to visit. The shops are individual and interesting and it is one of the best places for pubs with open fires in winter. It is a very attractive place with many interesting buildings. A short distance away is a wonderful garden centre.
We ate one night at the Highway Inn where we were staying and the next night at the Lamb. Good meals in both.

Fantastic Garden Centre just outside is also worth a visit with lots of stores of other items and clothing. The restaurant is excellent.
We had an excellent stay, the staff ( especially Emma ) and the charming owners were always smiling, nothing was too much trouble.
There was plenty of choice for breakfast, all made with quality ingredients, at dinner we chose from the al a carte menu and each dish was so enjoyable, I would happily recommend the restaurant to anyone.
The hotel is ideally situated to visit all of the Cotswolds without a long journey.
Thank you John, Debbie and all the staff for making our stay so enjoyable, we look forward to staying again.
Right on the high street in Burford, you can walk to all pubs, shops, cafe’s etc also close to other lovely villages worth visiting! Parking all along the main road with no issues at all. The hotel staff were friendly, helpful and professional. We stayed for my partners birthday and they left a lovely bottle of wine and birthday card in the room, such a thoughtful little touch!
Loved the restaurant and service we had in there. Food was amazing and the service from the young short chap with dark hair (not sure of his name) he was very knowledgeable, professional and helpful
Also, the location is great for Burford centre, only a 2 minute walk to the shops. It was easy to park on the street outside the hotel too.
The location of the Pheasant is perfect - half way down the main street and with quick access to all of Burfords amenities. Whilst I only had breakfast in the hotel, it was excellent and freshly prepared.
My room was situated at the back of the hotel and was perfect for one, very quiet. Bathroom was very nice too.

We stayed in the small house which is attached to the hotel and it was great and well equipped. The location is in a good place on the high street. The hotel was quiet and cozy.
Unbeatable location - less than 10m off of Burford high street, yet relatively quiet and undisturbed! Overall very comfortable and convenient, very clean, and well renovated.
