Whether it was recommending local attractions or helping us while our daughter got sick.. Their kindness made our stay even more enjoyable. The views from the suite are great! The panoramic windows offered sweeping views of the sea. Mamma Maria was exceptional in welcoming us and getting us set up with the keys to a wonderful apartment with balcony and a view of the beautiful pebble beach. Steps next to the house lead to the beach and a relaxing Taverna.

This newly built complex consists of 6 detached three-bedroom villas with private swimming pools is located just in front of the beach in Platanes resort in Rethymno. Balíon is 23 km from the... This apartment was amazing! The private pool was much bigger than we thought it would be. The beach is just a quick 1-minute walk down the driveway, and - bonus - we had two beach chairs and an umbrella included with our stay. The beach itself was sandy and great for our kids to play on. There was a bar/snack place on the beach also. The apartment had a nice coffee machine, a roomy refrigerator, and most of the kitchen supplies/utensils that we needed. The air conditioning worked very well and was very welcome during the hot afternoons. We always felt safe walking to and from the place, there are several good restaurants and a well-stocked grocery store right up the street. We would definitely stay here again!
