We enjoyed walking down to the harbour through the little shops, restaurants and taking in the beautiful views, as well as getting some exercise. The apartment has great amenities including a washing machine. Beautiful views of Symi harbour from the apartment patio terrace area and a lovely cool breeze in the evenings

Excellent appartment, fully equipped and super-clean. We really enjoyed the place, the great garden, the barbeque and of course the calmness of the sea just in front of us. Maria and her husband Valantis were very welcoming and we really felt this place as our home! They even added some good stuff for breakfast and a bottle of wine. We will select Maria's place when we visit Symi again!

Villa Galanis is situated in a fantastic position with a stunning view of the town and harbour. The villa has 3 rooms that share a terrace at the front of the property. We stayed in the slightly smaller middle room and loved it. Tina & Dave were exceptional hosts, going out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed. We really can't say enough about the superb way they look after their guests.

We had a wonderful stay and really appreciated the little touches, such as beach mats and snorkels provided. The house is central and very close to the shops and the restaurants of the main town. We loved exploring Symi and enjoyed some short hikes to deserted beaches out of the town. Not all restaurants were open in April but we still found plenty of options. The house was spotlessly clean.

Only about 200m from the harbour and ferry port but they will pick you up for free if you let them know when your ferry arrives. It has a pool which is a rarity on this island as there is very little flat land! The staff were friendly and helpful. The villas are traditional in design with lots of character, each separated from the others by beautiful gardens which provide shade and privacy.

We ate in the surrounding village each night close by, mainly because of the steps. Fortunately the tavernas close by were very good ! The bedrooms were very comfortable and a luxury to have an onsuite in one. It was nice to have some wine in the fridge on arrival.
