Everything. The location in the Chora was perfect. A quick walk through enchanting cobblestone streets to the center, with its windmills and variety of lovely restaurants. A few steps from the glorous castle. A sea view to die for. A classically Greek, beautiful, pristine home, well stocked with piles of fluffy towels, and TP, a huge supply of bottled water, and a welcome gift of cake, a fruit basket, loads of coffee, a huge selection of jams, and a fridge stocked with milk and fruit. The shower was luxurious, Everything was perfect.

Great balcony and view! Big, comfortable, clean and convenient apartment. Short way to the Castro and several nice tavernas and bars. The host was very service minded and helpful.

It is the perfect place, the house is very nice, clean and well equipped. The owners Antonios and his mother are lovely, the breakfasts are delicious and the views are incredible. We will definitely come back.

EPAMEINONDAS Greece

Excellent location overlooking the bay of Livadia beach with unobstructed views. The house is located inside the Chora and the castle so you don't need transport at night. It can house up to 6 people, it has a loft with a double bed that kids loved. Lovely balcony. Quiet location. Stunning views day and night. Kitchen was equipped with full breakfast from milk and cereals to orange juice and fruits, two kinds of coffee etc, full breakfast. The host picked us up from the port, carried the luggage in his car and drove to the nearest point, then he carried the luggage to the house. There is air conditioning on the living room but we didn't feel the need to power it up, the house has excellent flow of air and is built with traditional materials, stone etc, that doesn't get hot. There are fans in the bedrooms, it was more than enough cool for the night. The provide umbrellas to take with you on the beach if needed and lots of board games.

Excellently refurbished traditional home, great interior design to accommodate a family / group of friends. All details for o comfort stay very well thought of. Easy checkin via key box (very important in case of arrival at weird timings (common in an island serviced by boat transfer). Located within the town Of Astypalaia (Chora) and at a distance of. O more than 200m from the main square, makes it a great spot from which you can easily access all facilities (shops, restaurants, cafes, etc.) and night life of the island. Also very well located on the island to reach any of the well known beaches of the island. Hosts were extremely helpful in order to make our stay easy and comfortable, providing on time any information we asked for.

The stay at Melograno Villas was wonderful. We had a very comfortable duplex apartment in a typical Greek style and a lovely hot tub on the terrace with a stunning view of the Kastro. The kindness of Maria and Kali were touching. Every morning with great joy they served us a homemade breakfast with Greek delicacies of all kinds: sweet, savory, fruit, freshly squeezed orange juice, eggs, bacon, exceptional fresh bread. For a week we were served different delicacies every morning, every day a triumph of different flavors from the previous day. Flavors, aromas and recipes linked to the territory. An unforgettable experience like in few places today you can live. Michail welcomed us with great hospitality and drove us back to the airport with amiability like he was a dear friend or relative. An extraordinary family that allowed us to spend a dream week full of beautiful emotions on a magical Greek island.

A beautiful scent of oregano, sage and mint invested our senses upon setting foot on Astypalea. at the airport. an old man picked us up on time. he just spoke greek. no worries .. all perfect. the views from the balcony were amazing. location impossible to beat. manager so gentle. he also brought us to ferry for free, as nice gesture. arrivederci Astypalea, land of beauty and magnificent people!
