Breakfast buffet consistently good, and the eggs are cooked to perfection every time. The beds are very comfortable. Even the sofa bed mattress is more comfortable than many regular hotel mattresses. Beautiful view of the castle ruins, especially when lit up at night. The spa and infinity pool put the new hotel over the top. Entire facility is very clean including the rooms. Love the honesty fridge in the lobby so we can grab a bottle of wine or water even when the shop is closed. The terraces for the suites are massive! Very dog friendly - they cooked our pup his own meal. Easy and secure parking in the garage. Rooms are nicely sound proofed.

In a scenic location in the Wachau region overlooking the town of Krems, The 4-star superior Steigenberger Hotel & Spa Krems is 2 km from the centre. It offers a large spa area, and a restaurant. SPA was definitely the highlight! The sauna/pool complex is bigger than one could expect. Hotel cosy, clean. Nice view from the room. Restaurant serves decent dinners and breakfasts.

El cottage genumber9 ocupa una antigua granja de 300 años de antigüedad situada en Leiben, a 7 km de Melk, y ofrece zona de spa con sauna y cabina de infrarrojos, terraza y alojamiento apto para... Habitación muy bonita, decorada con mucho gusto y cerca de una zona de baño en el rio. A pocos minutos en coche de Melk. El desayuno que ofrecen te lo entregan en una cesta delante de la puerta y es muy completo. Disponen de una zona de sauna aunque no nos dio tiempo de poder disfrutarla.
