Our stay at the Stresa Residence was simply, magical! We attended a wedding in Stresa and opted for a property rental rather than a hotel. We are SO glad we did. We had the best time ever. The property was in such an amazing location- central to everything. There was a grocery store 2 minutes up the road. We were able to get to the water in just a few minutes, too. The balcony was such a plus. It was so amazing to sit on the balcony, enjoy a glass of wine, and have such great views of everyone strolling through the shops and streets below. The host, Giuliano was helpful and so kind. He helped us with busing information since we had a hard time communicating in Italian. The apartment was extremely clean and spacious. It was evident that the property owners have pride in their property. HUGE bathroom, closet and the "Murphy Bed" was so comfortable! We liked being able to put the bed up to have more space during the day. The little kitchen was perfect for cooling meals, too! We hope to be back one day!

Nice helpful owner. We were the first guests. A lot of space inside. Dinner: pasta pizza Meta and fisg local at FociSpina in Nebbiono.

Cosa mi è piaciuto? Tutto! Simona non era a Mergozzo ma ha disposto tutto perché fossimo accolti al meglio dalla signora Luisa e congedati con dolcezza dalla sua splendida mamma. Nel frattempo mi ha scritto (!) per chiedermi come andasse, mi ha accordato un early check in e un late check-out per "riparare" al brutto tempo, cosa che non dipendeva da lei ma...a chi non piace una carineria del genere? Se pagherete le tasse di soggiorno cash o via app di qualche tipo (o bonifico) sappiate che troverete la ricevuta ad attendervi in casa...un dettaglio di valore anche morale che la dice lunga. Non vedo l'or di tornare <3

Easy to find and parking in the garage is great - we have 2 e-bikes which we were able to charge there! The area has great possibilities to ride mountain bikes - perfect trails in less than 10 minutes drive. The house is really stunning - the view over the Lake is really impressive - I also liked the terrace which is very private and even when the weather is not so nice ( we had a lot of rain ) it’s a gray place to read a book and relax. For the rest everything is very stylish - we were able to use the washing machine ( no dryer unfortunately) and there are two tv’s - one even has Amazon - we had good internet !
