Situated in Cenes de la Vega, 5.5 km from Alhambra and Generalife, Hotel Boutique Cerro del Sol features accommodation with a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a... This hotel is located outside the city, but the location is perfect for visiting the Alhambra and the Sierra Nevada. It has a private parking lot. There is a buss that takes you to the city center in 15 minutes. The staff is very welcoming and speaks English fluently (which is a bonus in Spain). They are happy to inform you on visiting the Alhambra, the city of Granada and nice walks in the Sierra Nevada. The rooms are spacious and clean, with comfortable beds. We got a room with a lovely view of the mountains. There is a small swimming pool (was not in use yet, as it was the beginning of April) and it has a terrace with with resting beds, surrounded by trees and shrubs, that create a welcoming shadow. The breakfast is a buffet offering toasted bread, croissants, local cakes, cold cuts of ham and different cheeses, boiled eggs, yoghurt and cereals. There's is a expresso machine making all kinds of great tasting coffees. We also stayed for dinner, which is easy after an exhausting visit of the Alhambra and the city of Granada or a long walk in the Sierra Nevada. The food was quite OK and meets the average taste of a tourist, but we would have loved even more local Spanish dishes - but that's a personal preference of course. Overall, this is a very nice hotel that offers a perfect service and a great quality/price ratio.

MONTAÑAS is set in Sierra Nevada, 35 km from San Juan de Dios Museum, 35 km from Alhambra and Generalife, and 35 km from Paseo de los Tristes. Beautiful spot amongst the clouds. Lots of bed spaces. We had 4 stay here and it was a great space with a nice balcony. We came during off season for a relaxing time to hike and explore around the area. Would love to see this town in peak season!

Evaleta is situated in Monachil, 9.4 km from San Juan de Dios Museum, 10 km from Paseo de los Tristes, and 11 km from Alhambra and Generalife. Great host! Eva is extremely welcoming and bubbly. We loved the facilities and the location was perfect. It was the best place we've stayed at this holiday including hotels. ¡Gracias Eva!
