Situated in Nelly Bay, just 50 metres from the beach, Island Leisure Resort offers self-contained bungalows with a flat-screen TV. The property also features a swimming pool and tennis court. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They answered all of my questions and also spoke to me showing an interest in my holiday experience overall. For example, one staff member told me more information about Ravenswood from her own personal understanding of this gold mining town. We loved the pool because it was clean and a great swimming experience. I loved how the spa is a shallow part of the pool rather than a heated exclusive area. The Polynesian style accommodation was the size of a two bedroom unit and it was easy to keep clean. It also had kitchen facilities. It was just what we wanted. We were located walking distance from the beach and a grocery store. The boys loved the games room. We played pool a couple of times and tennis.

Friendly and helpful hosts! Excellent location. Outstanding pool and outside area. Would love to stay here again in the future! Highly recommend!

Located directly opposite the beach at Horseshoe Bay, Sails Hotel offers self-catering accommodation with kitchen facilities and gorgeous ocean views. Everything. It was clean, well appointed, the view from the balcony over Horseshoe Bay was stunning and the staff friendly.

Just 700-metres from Nelly Bay Beach, Amaroo On Mandalay offers an outdoor pool, 2 tennis courts and a fitness centre. All rooms offer a kitchenette, a flat-screen TV and a patio with garden views. The room was nice and clean and modern. It was like a studio apartment with a full fridge and a microwave. The pool was really great for getting out of the mid-day heat. We were there during a quiet time of year, but there wasn't really anyone else ever at the pool at the same time as us. The aircon was really nice and the bed was comfy. Lots of wildlife around.
