extremely clean. The staff were very friendly. The room was amazing! Added touches were milk in the fridge for the coffee and a special welcome chocolate treat. I especially appreciated the bottle of cold water in the fridge as well. there was fresh fruit on the table, two oranges and 2 apples. The toiletries were top notch. the room was large with a table with two chairs. The King bed was so comfortable.

The spa facilities were incredible, from the changing rooms to the jacuzzi and everything in between. The ice room was my favourite. The staff were always helpful and friendly. The treatments were varied and so relaxing. I have allergies and they were so careful with me, I felt safe in their hands.

Exceptional hosts in the owners, Scott and Lynn. From their kind offer of a pick up from Torquay station to the care and thought they put into their superb breakfasts, The Babbacombe Palms is a wonderful guest house. The rooms are impeccably clean, with attractive, fresh, contemporary decoration. And finally, the location, just a few minutes from the glorious Babbacombe Downs, make it an excellent choice for travellers in the area.

This B&B set the gold standard. The property is very well located on a quiet road within walking distance of the promenade & town centre. Our room was bright, well equipped, spotlessly clean, extremely comfortable & roomy. Elaine & Lee are very friendly people who make you feel totally at home. Their attention to detail is superlative. The dining room was light & airy. Breakfast was five star. Lovely fresh fruit, yogurt, cereals, croissants, then a delicious cooked full English. We loved the yummy home made cake left in our room each day. I would recommend this B&B unreservedly. I could find fault with absolutely nothing. We will definitely return.

We liked everything about Marmalade. Delicious breakfast. Comfortable bed, the room was very high standard. Suzy and Paul's attention to detail really showed and made our stay unforgettable. Matt and Andy were lovely hosts - friendly and efficient. The building was beautiful and the rooms extremely well appointed. Breakfast was excellent (we're vegetarian but the meat eaters seemed happy too). Exceptionally clean and well thought out accommodation. Highly recommended and we expect to return.
