Originally opened in 1889, the world-famous Savoy Hotel is situated on the banks of the Thames and less than 5 minutes' walk from The British Museum and The Royal Opera House. The hotel was once visited by the likes of Sir Winston Churchill, Frank Sinatra and Katherine Hepburn.

The rooms were so perfect. The staffs were all so friendly and helpful. I stayed here to attend my university graduation ceremony the next day, and when I told this upon arrival, we came back to the room that evening and found they prepared a champaign bottle with a message card as a graduation gift. This was a very pleasant hospitality.

My daughter and I stayed for one night and on arrival I was told we had been upgraded to a junior suite. Having the extra space to sit and chat was great; there was a bottle of wine waiting for us and we had a view of the London Eye. The bathroom had an excellent shower, lovely toiletries were provided as well as nice touches such as toothbrushes and toothpaste. The bed was extremely comfortable, the bedding crisp and spotless and the room very quiet considering you are in the centre of London. I would definitely book again.

I booked a stay for my parents as an anniversary present. The hotel were amazing I was able to book and pay for everything without my parents knowing. It made their trip special and stress free. They had a wonderful dinner and breakfast and loved staying at the hotel. They were even upgraded and lovely little touches to celebrate their anniversary including a cake and message on the mirror. Will be back! Hoping next time we can stay as well!

Lovely stay here, staff were very friendly and helpful. Excellent location and rooms were clean and had everything we needed. We found the beds to be super comfortable and they also added a few extra touches to the room and a complimentary bottle of champagne for our anniversary which was lovely. Plenty of breakfast options and it was very good quality. The pub underneath had a nice relaxed atmosphere. Would happily stay here again.

The staff here are great, they noticed that it was my boyfriends birthday and gave us a free upgrade to the executive lounge which serves breakfast and drinks (including some alcohol) and canapés all day. They also gave him a card and a bottle of wine in the room. Upon arrival, check in was busy and our room wasn’t quite ready but we were given complementary drinks tokens for the bar which was lovely. I would also highly recommend Savage Garden bar from start an evening- amazing cocktails and views.

The hotel is lovely and rooms are nice, but the staff are really the best part about the hotel. The service was exceptional, we were always greeted with a friendly hello and everyone was more than happy to help with any queries. I mentioned that it was our anniversary and we were so thrilled to receive an upgrade, a card and a complimentary bottle of wine - it really made our trip special. The location is also ideal with a short walk to Liverpool Street, Farringdon or Bank. We can’t wait to come back.
