The staff was very caring. I would like to thank Mr. Rasim at the reception helping the free room type upgrade. I would also like to thank the other staff, Mr. Mehmet Ali, for his help. The location is great. Istiklal Street, Taksim Square, metro station, museums and entertainment are within walking distance. The Karaköy tunnel is also within walking distance. Karaköy Tunnel has the title of the second oldest metro in the world. Due to its location dining opportunities are excellent.

Excellent location and very comfy beds, good breakfast and very accommodating staff: we arrived at 10am in the morning and were still given a room. The hotel is making huge improvement/maintenance efforts that were appreciated.

Humidity and smell in the bath. No fan.

Very good location, very nice and helpfull staff, they welcomed us with a fruit plate which was very pleasant. Facilities were a bit old and smelled humid in the bath, otherwise it was a nice stay and nice hotel. I particularly liked the calming designs and decorations and comfortable bed plus the cute balcony. Breakfast staff were very polite and breakfast was good. The pool was a little cold and could be better. We enjoyed out stay.

It is not cheap, $100+ per night, but is worth it for the location and service.

The hotel location in Galata is exceptional. It is 3-4 minute walk to the Metro (stop Sishane, exit 6 Daire), and 5-8 minute walk to Galata Tower, Istikal Street, Istikal trolley car, and the Tunel funicular down to Galata Bridge. Note: It is hilly in Galata, so these are medium-to strenuous walks, over some cobble-stone pavement. I can't emphasize enough how nice, efficient, and cheap the Metro is, as streets are very crowded, taxis get stuck in traffic, and the trams are jam-packed. As for my room, I got a Booking.Com genius upgrade and was pleased to arrive and be given a 6th floor Executive Double room with balcony with table & chair overlooking the middle stretch of the Golden Horn. I had partial view (not panarama) but could still watch sunsets directly, sunrises indirectly, and daylight boat action on the Golden Horn. Room and bed were spacious, including two cozy arm chairs and ottoman (pun intended). Breakfast was OK, a minimal buffet, heavy on cheese and vegetables. While I was told I would pay extra for a cappuccino at breakfast, the front desk comped me for it (i.e., they did not charge me). The hotel also offered airport transportation for $55 one way ($105 roundtrip) for up to 4 people. The van was spacious, like a mini-limo, and the driver was on time and helpful. That probably cost more than a taxi, but had much more room.

Rooms need to furnish anew. Bathroom is open-style so if you are with friend it’s a bit strange to take a shower, for couples it’s ok :)

They recommended a restaurant called Orfoz as a good resurant , but actually it was too much expensive and the food was not good quality.

The breakfast is included and very good , the location is near to the city centre and metrostation. The staff is very friendly specially Mr .Boraak.

The balcony is useless, it’s blocked by other buildings even on the last floor, don’t book balcony view it’s just not worth it

In Istanbul for the Champions League Final weekend. What made the stay at the hotel special was the attitude of the staff - ONUR (and also SEFA) at the front desk who went out of their way to help arrange minibus, taxis, travel and restaurants for our party, They added to the fun, carnival atmosphere, understanding the needs of the City fans staying at the hotel. Really helpful. Really appreciated.

The shower in the room was not good and the breakfast - whilst big! - missed fresh orange juice (but maybe I got there too late!)

The hotel was great and the staff really helpful. Particularly Onur and Sefa who could not have been kinder. Excellent. Thank you so much for making my stay in Istanbul so memorable and easy.

There was some dirt outside my room on one day, which I asked to be cleared away ( it was, very quickly ). The television was slightly awkward to operate, but in the end it was OK.

The personnel were very friendly and helpful, especially Mr. Baris ONUR, he helped me very well with various things.

Heating is very strong even when you turn it down it still feels hot in the room
