Amazing location, nice quinta and surroundings, lovely owner/staff, good breakfast and friendly dogs. We could have taken our dog and felt like at home. We shall return in the summer as there is a pool with great view!

The property is stunning, very well maintained and the owner is the sweetest lady ever, she was amazing with my little one, accommodating us so well! Lovely area with toys. All very clean. I felt a home, definitely staying there again.

Casa da Ventozella is a lovely rereat own by a charming lady. I stayed two days and fell in love with the place but morw than than with Claudoa the owner. So kind and caring

It was more out of the way than I realized, but I was happy to be here!

Expansive. Private. Relaxing. A most lovely owner who was so kind and accommodating to my late arrival and early departure schedule. She upgraded me to a bigger room at the last minute when she realized I was repacking all my luggage for departure from the country the next day. She woke up super early to provide me breakfast before I departed, even though I told her not to worry about doing this. EXCELLENT VALUE!

The bathroom does not have an extractor fan so was smelling a bit (but was very clean) Rooms are not very well insulated so if the other guests are noisy you might struggle to rest

The host is amazing and will go over and beyond what is expected. 100% the best host I've ever had. The place is really nice and close to a lot of amenities. Room was very clean and there is use of the kitchen if needed and also a play room to relax!

Only that I didn't allow time to stay longer, and that my wife missed out while she's on a Camino.

Where to start? 5+-stars and highly recommend this country cottage, that feels like an elegant farm stay. Claudia is an incredible hostess - she goes out of her way to make sure everything is perfect. The house has been in the family since it was built in the late 1700s. The renovation is modern, while still maintaining a feeling of the history and honoring original building materials. My room was tastefully furnished, clean, bright, and spacious. There are several friendly dogs, and my dog really enjoyed their time together. Dinner is available for groups with advanced notice. As a single traveler arriving late, Claudia guided me to a really nice restaurant in town. In the morning, we hung out and chatted, and I learned more about the history. I should've planned to stay longer - very relaxing.

If you book a long time before hand, I would recommend to double check the reservation. I booked early and several months later Claudia contacted me to tell me she had a double booking and I couldn't come. FInally we could stay 3 in stead of 9 days. The bed was too hard for me. The rest of the family was fine with the beds.

it s a little paradise ! we really loved lying in the shade of the trees next to the swimming pool, with a great view on the mountains. There are several tables and chairs outside, where you can choose to relax / eat.

There are lots of steps and you must like dogs. The pool needs a bit of TLC.

Claudia and her family have a large and beautiful property with great views across the valley. Whilst retaining the traditional feel of the house, renovations have included glass doors and contemporary additions which mean it is light and airy. Our room had air con, a comfy bed and a modern ensuite. We used the kitchen and BBQ to prepare an evening meal, and next day the huge breakfast included cakes home baked by Claudia's mother. Yummy! The garden has lovely and interesting planting. The pool was most welcome! A very comforable stay with everything that one could need.

The only thing I didn't like is that I only had 1 night on a business trip. I would have loved to be on a long holiday there to enjoy such a great place.

Only challenge was finding the property entrance but the owner was very helpful when I called. Suggest you call in advance for guidance.

Nothing to dislike! Quiet rural location with parking. Spacious & well equipped room. Excellent facilities. Great hospitality. Nothing was too much trouble. Comfortable and homely surroundings. Games room available. Very relaxing experience.

Beautiful and relaxing location with a great view. Wonderful staff. Great breakfast. I also enjoyed the sitting area and the game room, which has a full size billiards table.

The room is perfect and the view from the location is breathtaking. We really enjoyed our stay in the house. Casa da Ventozella is fully equipped with everything we needed and the style of the building reminds of a castle. There is a also a swimming pool to refresh when the weather is nice (so everyday!) Finally the host is awesome and cared for all our needs. Amazing breakfast. I highly recommend!!
