The room did not have a window (there is a sliding window which you cannot look through into the hallway). It seems this is the case for all the rooms. The room wasn't stuffy despite the lack of the window as long as ac is turned on. Someone was smoking at the entrance and thus the hallways often smelled like smoke which wasn't great. The rooms are fairly small.

The place was fairly new and thus very clean. Water, instant coffee and washing machine were available which was great. Location is just outside of Little India which was convenient.

I couldn't control the AC temperature, I think they gave me the wrong remote, so the room was either freezing or really hot.

The place was really nice, I liked the facilities, I'm glad they had a water refill station and laundry area.

I think the room lacked a bedside lamp but that's just a detail really. Also the terrace could be equipped with more seats and a table to create a convivial space to chill.

The location is ideal, in the center of George town, yet in a very quiet street. The staff is very nice and the guest house is calm and clean.

If payment by card is possible, it could have been nice. The light in the room was a bit dim. No noise proof so it is a bit noisy during the day but at night everyone tried to keep quiet.

The room was old but clean and had everything we need for short stay. There was free use of washing machine and free fresh water, coffee. The room was on the top floor so it had good view and access to the terrace. Eugene was very responsive and helpful. Location was close to many attractions in George Town.

The accommodation is in the center of George Town, so it is convenient for traveling and eating. The room is small because its for only person but so nice decor and quiet to rest in. Around the accommodation, there are a few shops that can buy anything. No breakfast but have tea, coffee in the kitchen on F2. In the rooftop, the accomodation has a wash machine to be suitable for being cleanser all of clothes. The landlord is extremely friendly and supportive.

Great location. Eugene is so lovely to all his guests! There is a fridge to keep any food or drinks you wish. Free tea / coffee is also available along with a filtered water machine to fill up water bottles. Free use of a washing machine is available here which is amazing!! Washing powder also included. Eugene also offers free leaflets with info about Georgetown food and activities. He also hands out complementary diary’s and calendars which was such a lovely touch. As a traveller I like to keep a diary of my travels so it was a very nice touch.

Amazing location, nice functional kitchen and free water provided. There was also a laundry machine free to use which is a rare luxury in hostels. Room was comfy and had good aircon.

The room is incredibly small, with little to no ventilation. There was an issue with Grab Taxis being unable to find the property as it is not listed on the app.

Friendly staff who gave us plenty of maps and recommendations. Great location right in the centre of George Town. Free laundry was a real plus.

Bathroom cleanliness suffers from guests who are unable to clean up after themselves. This is not an issue that can be solved by staff.

The staff and the location was amazing! We planned to stay 2 nights and ended up staying 5 nights. It is advisable to contact the staff directly for any requests or extensions, as they can be very flexible with room occupancy (so we changed the room after the first night). Although the equipment in the economy room is very basic, it is adequate for the money. The washing machine on the roof terrace, which can be used, is great.

Lights are not so bright in the room.

The location is perfect. It's close to several places to see in George town, e.g. Chinese Shrine, Hindu temple, Church, Mosque, the Esplanade, etc. There are a lot of dining options nearby. Room and bed are clean. The hotel has free filtered water. The staffs are very nice and helpful. Basic amenities and facilities, but they are all I needed. I spent most of the time visiting places anyway. I would stay again.

Too noisy, I woke up all time during the night and morning with someone closing the front door of the hotel and no curtains on the bedroom, so I had to sleep with outside lights on
