Breakfast was quite bad.. the replacement of dishes were slow and the egg station was really slow.. maybe because they don't replace the scramble egg dish fast. One of the nights there, a neighbouring room had issues & the facilities crew were vacuuming late in the night and was pretty loud. It took about 45mins or so. The pillows were too soft! No point having labeled pillow cases but it didn't seem to be as firm as it should. All pillows felt the same.

Just a little note that I didn’t quite like the toiletries provided. The fragrance was rather overpowering. Hope a more natural range of product can be provided.

Some things in the room were either not working or felt like they were going to break. Eg. The chair was a bit wobbly. Floor lamp was not working. Bathroom needs a bit more maintenance and cleaning. There is no rain shower.

Location was very good. Staff were very helpful and polite. Shower area is big.

The carpet of our room was not thoroughly cleaned and there were some stains and remnants left by the previous guests.

The location is superb with City square and Komtar JBCC stone’s thrown away as well as the CIQ train station which is walkable within 2-3 mins.

I appreciate the respective department would check the guest room before checking in the guest. The safe was not working, the coffee cups were not clean and the toilet smelled. please check the sewage pipe. I am thankful to the housekeeping, they tried to wash the toilet but, the smells came up from the toilet drainage hole.

I liked the steam spa and the pool. The room was bright and cosy. The staff's attitude was good and service was efficient. Most grateful to the housekeeper. Thank you for the great work in cleaning up the room. Just a little reminder, please vacuum the carpet daily, thank you. I appreciate the Hotel being more alert. Some guests brought Durian into the room and it stung the whole floor. I hope the guest can be more considerate, and do not make work difficult for the hotel staff and guests.

Only downside is the lift accessibility. You have to switch lift to go to Guest room level from Level 8. So if you are from Ground level, need to go level 8 (Reception), then switch lift to go to your room. [Eventhough the lift we took have buttons for level 9 onwards but couldnt go (shouldnt have place the button there in first place)]. Similarly to go to JBCC Komtar, from your room need to go level 8, then switch lift or stairs to level 7, then proceed out to Carpark (beside entrance theres small door to Mall Lift). But this is small issue compared to great hotel experience.

Near CIQ, more spacious than average room and great swimming pool view!

First time staying here. Managed to score early check in at about 1pm, maybe because we booked on a Wednesday so not many people. Staff were friendly and courteous and check in was done quickly. Room was clean and spacious enough for 2 girls. Tv channels were abit boring but we could screen share so we just watched from our phone. Toilet was big and clean. Basic amenities were provided. Had a good sleep except the second night as there were constructions going on outside the whole day (the new train line to sg). Light sleepers do take note. Better to bring ear plugs as we woke in the middle of the night a few times.

At the standing mirror, the lighting is very dim, very hard to apply make up. Can't do it in the toilet is because the mirror is too far from the basin area. If swimming pool can be open at 6 am or 6.30am will be perfect. Breakfast can be improved.

Staffs are very friendly n attentived. Love the room n view. Syam at the check in counter fill me up with lots of infor about the hotel n benefits.

Very bad dinner experience at the coffee house. Although there were very few customers but service was extremely slow. Staff were busy chit-chatting amongst themselves and not attentive to customers. That may be the very reason why customers avoided the place for dinner. Will check again the situation during my next visit.
