Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

This hotel couldn’t be in a more perfect location right in the heart of Naoussa, right on the waterfront and a few minutes walk from the bus station. The rooms are perfectly clean, beautiful with all amenities needed for an island stay, plus very strong and fast wifi service. Both check-in and out were extremely easy and the staff was extremely friendly. I would absolutely stay here again and would recommend Madaky hotel to anyone staying in Naoussa!

The room was a bit small and had just a hot water kettle. It would've been nice if it had a coffee maker or nespresso. The pool was in the process of being cleaned and set-up so we didn't enjoy it :(
Location was central to a few shops and restaurants. Daphne was also super helpful and gave recommendations and allowed us to borrow beach chairs.

The room was very pretty and the view was gorgeous of the ocean. The cost for the room was amazing for the cleanliness and the room. It was also so close to Naoussa and i felt very comfortable as a solo traveller in it.

The area around the pool was small but constrained in size by the buildings. It was a very clean and inviting pool.
Fantastic location with a large bakery/cafe and mini mart next to the hotel, view from our room (number 11) and balcony across to the caiques and yachts, and beside the old town with its restaurants and boutique shops which were formerly fishermen's cottages in a maze of lanes. Our room was well equipped with a modern tiled ensuite. Great welcome from Myrto who gave us cappucinos, glasses of water, and cake while we waited for our room to be ready. (We had arrived early to check in). Myrto was very friendly throughout our stay. Cleaning staff helpful and friendly, fresh towels and bed re-made daily.

The outdoor area in the room wasn’t clean.
Amazing location! and receptionist was very friendly. I would recommend this place as it’s right across the shops and restaurants.

The Hotel is located in an excellently. Across the road you will find all the trendy restaurants in the old port if Naoussa where the action (parties etc) are. In the left of the Hotel is an amazing bakery that serves literally everything from coffee, hot chocolate, to home made breakfast and pasteries. And on the right you will find a delicious ice cream and greek frozen yogurt shop. We loved the chocolate sorbet. A pharmacy is also close by

About 20 minutes from town and we couldn't get buses (quite confusing) but other than that it was okay.

Bathroom very small. No hot water at times. Water leaked out of shower. Only one pillow per person.
Great location. Beds were comfy. AC worked well. Nice patio. Provided laundry services. Staff wonderful!

Pool was only open certain hours We did washing with the hotel and our clothes were soaking when we had to leave, noticed we had lost a few items of clothing. Walls are quite thin- however there was a loud group of people here one night and the staff did talk to them to ensure that it wouldn’t happen again

Perfect location! 2 minute walking distance to the water, restaurants, cafes and shop! The location could not be better! We absolutely loved our stay in Paros. Beds on the firmer side. Regular sized room. Great prizes!! The staff were very friendly. Would definitely stay again!
