The air con wouldn't work, so the room was a bit nippy. It was late when we got in so didn't bother anyone with it.

On arrival the receptionist told us our room was bed and breakfast. When we went for breakfast we were told that was not the case. Only slightly annoying

I loved everything

Super location, walking distance to all tourists sites. We greatly enjoyed our stay. Very helpful at the front desk. Comfy beds and lovely toiletries, specially the lavender spray. Ultra clean.

Lifts didnt stop on the floor when we called for it so we had to wait at least 5 minutes each time. Breakfast was only lukewarm.

While the parking is convenient, the underground car park (like so many these days) is quite cramped! I would also always prefer nicer coffee than sachets of instant Nescafé.

Room was spacious, well-appointed and comfortable. Staff were very helpful too. The location is excellent for most things you'd want to do or get to in the city centre.

We were informed we didn’t need to book a parking space, when we arrived we were asked if we had booked a space,none were available and we had to pay £26 to park elsewhere. When we arrived at our room a maintenance man was working on the aircon,it didn’t work the whole time we were in our room, our room was clearly not ready.

The lighting was a little odd. In the main bedroom area there were various lamps but no ceiling lights. With all lamps on it was quite dim, nice atmosphere but not ideal when trying to do other things such as read. We have stayed in this hotel twice and while everything else is great. It’s clean, staff are great, location is perfect for exploring the city. On both occasions I have found the bed rather uncomfortable and not slept particularly well.

We had a (locked) linking door to the room nextdoor. This offered very little sound proofing from the residents of that room.

Gym very basic Breakfast was extremely poor our first day (the majority of the breakfast dishes, where empty, stale pastries)… It was much better day 2 - so maybe a change in staff. Reception staff not very engaged - came across quite rude

My partner mentioned that the air conditioning/heating was making a noise during the night and he woke up a few times.

The front main door was “out of action” so we got lost on our first morning. And it was a long walk around to the front. This was an issue al weekend. I feel this could have been fixed pretty quick.

Rooms need updating, coffee machine leaked everywhere, 1 tissue in box of tissues, no plug sockets by the bed, sat nav takes you into the bus lane be aware you have to drive another 15 minutes around to get to it if you drive towards the front.

Central to everything, nice inside the hotel. Nice balcony in the suite.friendly staff.

Well at first when I went to my room I discovered that it had not been cleaned as yet and the bed was still unmade. Fortunately for me the person at reception was extremely apologetic and I was moved to a much larger room on a higher floor with a great view - so all good!

Great location and friendly staff! Breakfast was good and there was sufficient choice.
