Reception was unorganized, doors were broken, lady at reception didn’t look up to say hello for a very long time, whilst the app wasn’t downloading so I had no way of booking in.

A relatively new hotel which had a number of maintenance issues. Electrical sockets malfunctioning, switches stuck on or off. Window lock broken. Some doors sticking and damage resulting to floor. The grounds were being let go. No weeding spoiling the many borders and beds.

Clean contemporary facilities. Ace shower and products. Comfortable. Pleasant bar. Good dining facilities.

One of the best hotels I have stayed in for a long time. Modern, clean and the whole setup was great. To even have EV charging made it for me and I stay in a lot of hotels with work.

No Tea making facilities in the room. Quality of food and drink at the diner a little disappointing. Berry Smoothie watered down, breakfast not the greatest. Not bad but not the best. Which was a shame as really looking forward to the “Diner” experience.

I really dislike sinks in the room and for me the bathroom was too small. I also had a problem with a pump in the soap but no one came to help even though I’d asked at reception and they said they were going to pop up. I ended up having to take a pump from the lotion and put it in the soap just so we could wash our hands. I also think twin rooms should have the beds separate. They were pushed together and this wasn’t really the twin room I was hoping for.

I love the interior design downstairs and the general vibe of the hotel. The free coffee is also a lovely touch. Mollie’s Diner had a great brunch too!

Automated self-check-in is cumbersome - it would have been far quicker for a member of staff to do this. No kettle provided - there are only hot water taps on each corridor, and this fact is only made known on digging through the website. Irritating.

Well-appointed, modern hotel. Tasteful and comfortable room with excellent facilities (a/c, excellent shower, large TV, very very comfortable bed. Quiet.

The only thing that could have been better for me is the air conditioning - it's minimum setting is 19C which is heating in the North not actually cooling. Fortunately,I bought my mini fan and slept under the duvet cover only.

The breakfast which is im Mollie's Diner across from the excellent accommodation is great, I had the French Toast with blueberries and yoghurt, the coffee was delicious and the service fast and friendly.

Shower was aimed at my face when I first turned on in the morning when getting in, not a good wake up!

The low score I have given was for the diner. We went for our dinner on the first evening and was greeted with a very friendly “head server”. However the following morning a different person completely ignored us and sat down other guests that were queuing behind us. We were completely invisible! My husband explained we were first but he didn’t seem to care. The following morning he dealt with the situation better but took us directly through the servers station. He did this with other people too. I think some training is required with this particular member of staff. Unfortunately I don’t have his name.

We have stayed at Mollies several times and will continue to do so has it’s perfectly placed on our journeys.

Thursday morning about 9:30..the tunes went on...not an issue usually..but I was on nights..so in bed ...even ear plugs didn't help..was to loud...bit of background ok..but it was way more...got turned down later...not by me !

I was on expenses...so...ya get me bruv ? Init ?...Coffee is superb...flat white baby ....

My nephew had been raving about the breakfast at Mollies, and I only realised when we arrived that we'd probably have to book it in the separate diner. There were few timeslots left when I checked online at 1am, and no suitable ones when I checked in the morning. We both needed our sleep due to lots of driving and decided to prioritise that rather than book a slot the night before. We ended up stopping at Gloucester Services for a tasty breakfast instead.

We booked Bruce Springsteen tickets for Cardiff quite late, and the nearby accommodation prices were off the scale by then. Someone suggested we drive to Bristol for the night (questionable advice with hindsight), and a nephew recommended Mollies. I loved that we could turn up at any time (we finally did at 1am). I thought the room was great, looked better than I'd expect in a Motel. I knew nothing about Mollies, and was heading to reception to ask about a kettle (as tea and coffee were provided) when I spotted the hot/cold drinking water tap in the corridor. Glad I hadn't already undressed! And I wasn't happy to get the teas in the morning with my bed-head, but luckily my husband didn't mind. The shower pressure was great, as were the towels. Good hairdryer too, and comfy beds. We had a twin room as that's all that was left when I booked, but the beds were pushed together, and separate single duvets was actually rather fab!
