The location was unbelievable, close to most of the old buildings, close to all kinds of restaurants and shops. There was something different and appealing about the hotel’s ambience. The public rooms and my room were rococo; the breakfast was in a beautiful room on the top floor (US), a mix of Western and Turkish specialties presided over by a most helpful and charming man; there were three receptionists, all extremely helpful, ready to do anything for you; other staff so nice also. An author with knowledge of Turkey would find this a perfect place to write mystery novels!

Negative section of review
Even though the receptionists helped tremendously helping me charge my electronics, it would have been great if there could be in-room charging capability. Otherwise travelers should bring full-capability charger equipment. In the bathroom it would have been great to have tissues.

Our second trip to Istanbul. We have stayed in several 5 star hotels all over Istanbul. This location is the best service of all . The management is wonderful and the hotel manager invited us to his office for a warming chat. Simply wonderful experience every time we have stayed here.

Location from the airport, options to purchase meals right there with no need to figure that out. Grocery store not a far walk and facility aesthetic

Not fully ADA adaptable but we managed. The room was severely small to maneuver a disabled person in an oversized wheelchair but the staff accommodated us as much as possible

Unfortunately, while beautiful, this particular neighborhood and location was exceptionally loud late into the night. There are not one but two busy, hopping night clubs a stone's throw away, and on the weekends, the bass from those establishments is loud enough to rattle your windows. It didn't quiet down until after 3am two of the nights I stayed there, which made it difficult to enjoy aspects of the hotel that were otherwise quite nice. I think this is a particular issue for the section of the hotel facing the nightclubs, but others told me they could hear it from the other side of the site as well. The noise factor would be useful information for travelers expecting something a bit more quiet and serene. This is a better stay for kids that want to party than folks that like to get up before noon.
