I really liked the hotel and the room (with a view of the pool)! We were at the very beginning of the May season. It was quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was varied. Every morning there was a new hot dish. The child also liked many things. The hot garlic rolls were outstanding! The location is excellent - a short walk to the sea.

Breakfast - It's bad that there were no fresh fruits and berries at all, but only compote. There were also only tomatoes from fresh vegetables, but not every morning. Disadvantages - you could swim in the pool only until 19:00, but you wanted it exactly in the evening, when the pool was so beautifully lit from the inside and there were many lamps around! So romantic but unusable!!! Especially if you are not allowed to swim at Kalamaki beach after sunset, so as not to disturb the spawning of the turtles. Then at least you could swim in the pool! The shortcomings are not about the hotel, but about the municipality of Kalamaki - Anna's market, which is closest to the sea, burned plastic waste in a bonfire in its courtyard in the evening at 19:00. The whole beach stank. Burning plastic waste in bonfires is prohibited in the European Union because it emits harmful compounds. Waste containers are also overflowing and many are cracked.

The accommodation was very spacious and beautifully designed. The light-flooded shower and the whirlpool in the room are a particular highlight. The host was exceptionally friendly and courteous and made me feel at home. The sea, the town centre and many restaurants and shops are within walking distance.

The apartment's location in Plaka is excellent, very close to Acropolis, Panathenaic stadium, Arch of Hadrian and also walking distance from Agora etc. Apartment itself is small but nice, perfect for a few days of stay for solo traveler or a couple.

Check-in could've been better! It was easy to find the lock with the key inside, however, the host didn't provide information about the number of the apartment or floor, meaning that I had to walk-up and down the whole building trying to see in which door did the key fit it. It was also late and nobody answered on the contact number provided. Plz note that the apartment is in the basement.

room and bathroom great. housekeeping staff were fabulous and also the reception and bar staff esp Christos were very friendly and professional. Karen is a star. breakfast was standard but range of cooked meats could have been of much better quality.

The traffic noise was really bad in my room 209 which meant you couldn't really enjoy the balcony or leave the door open.
