Henry the very friendly manager found us the following day a room without mold smell (a problem arising from the poor drainage in the bathroom). The Thai food at the restaurant was very tasty and the staff willingly replaced the juice in breakfast with a plate of fresh fruit. They also provided us a reasonably priced transportation to the airport. Given that it was the low season -- the oppressive April hot muggy weather -- and we were a few kilometers from the nearest community, the resort was nearly empty and thus quiet. Next to the hotel is a lovely Buddhist complex, the oldest on the island.

The sharing pool was amazing. The staff will do whatever you’ll ask them nicely. The main pool was amazing too, and you can easily switch between the pool and the beach if you want. Take a kayak from the staff on the beach and go to independent trip
