Vitor is an excellent host providing us a small sample of Port, a great bottle of Douro wine, and many excellent suggestions on what to see and do in Porto. This is clearly one of the best apartments to explore Porto providing you easy access to the fine seafood restaurants along the north west coast yet only a #500 bus away from the town center.

We were a group of 3 girls and had the bungalow with the private jacuzzi. We really enjoyed the stay! It was very clean, Luise explained everything and was very friendly, although she didn’t speak any English, but it worked well with a translation app! Fully equipped kitchen outside, bathroom with shower, WC (glass door was quite unusal at first :D). Breakfast delivered by Luise in a basket with juice, jam, hot milk, bread, cheese + sausage. Private parking. Cats and horses living there. Free WiFi. We liked it! You can see the love they put in this place. Still a little under construction but worth a visit!

Located in the Vilar de Mouros Natural Park, Prazer da Natureza is an 8-minute drive from the centre of Caminha. Beautiful 2-storey apartment in a lovely setting. Everything was squeaky clean. Breakfast was really good. The bed was comfy too.

The pet-friendly Quinta São Francisco Rural Resort - Regina Hotel Group has an outdoor swimming pool, bar, a shared lounge and garden in Outeiro. Almost everything about this hotel was excellent. Katarina was an exemplary hostess and the breakfasts she provided were fabulous. The hotel has been beautifully decorated,, though some aspects are yet to receive the treatment. We would stay there again without a doubt.

Hotel Douro Vale de Campos offers an outdoor swimming pool and a spa on site. This property is located in Abragão, 20 minutes’ driving from Penafiel city. Fantastic place to relax for few days, you get everything there you need, spacious rooms, Fantastic breakfast, staff very friendly and helpful.

Located in the heart of the Pinhal de Ofir, between the river and the sea, this hotel with its timeless architecture has two outdoor swimming pools where you can enjoy contact with the Pinhal de Ofir.... Very charming '60 - '70 style hotel with a nice breakfast buffet and a large, clean swimmingpool. Good restaurants within walking distance.
