Located in Ponta do Sol, 1.2 km from Madalena do Mar Beach, Escarpa - The Madeira Hideaway provides accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. Everything was perfect. The place was so peaceful, situated in between banana plantations. The sunset views are so beautiful. Rooms have exactly the perfect size. The breakfast was probably one of the best we ever had in any hotel around the world. So well done, everyday there would be a special and the ingredients are mostly locally sourced. Highly recommend this hotel.

Set in Boaventura, 21 km from Santana's traditional houses, Terrabona Nature & Vineyards offers accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a restaurant. The "hotel" (only 4 small villas) is in a beautiful location with outstanding views. The small villa's are very private and far from each other and beautiful as well. The bed was super comfortable, shower facilities great. Very nicely decorated unit (living room etc). Very nice pool and sauna (it was too cold for us to go in the pool). We had 2 dinners on site with the hosts that were very nice and great to meet the other guests and the hosts. The location is on the north east of the island which is the wilder part of the island. Breakfast is self-catered: you get fresh bread in the morning and have fresh eggs, cheeses, salami etc in the fridge and make your own breakfast. There is a very nice real coffee machine and ground coffee provided as well.

We liked this hotel very much. We liked the wide variety of food, good parking option, enjoyable evening shows, nice staff. Supermaket and sandy beach nearby.

Pestana Grand Ocean Resort Hotel ligger omgitt av tropisk natur ved kystpromenaden i Funchal, og kan skilte med Madeiras største saltvannsbasseng. Reception staff on check in were welcoming, efficient and pleasant. Room and seaview were excellent. Pool area was enormous with a huge pool and and many sun lounges. The meal package of breakfast and dinner was superb. Excellent variety of food in the restaurant and great wait staff service. Would stay again in a heartbeat!

5-stjerners Vidamar Resorts Madeira ligger på sørkysten av Madeira, noen få minutters gange fra Funchal sentrum. Overnattingsstedet har tre evighetsbassenger med saltvann for voksne og ett for barn. so hospitable. the halfboard option really saved me and my partner time arguing over where to eat. they have their own buffet inside the hotel aswell as an Italian and madeiran restaurant close to the hotel incase you don’t like what food is on the buffet that day. there are four pools outdoors so the pool isn’t so full it’s uncomfortable like a lot of other hotels. great location.

Vila Baleira Resort All Inclusive has an outdoor pool and a heated indoor pool. It is located in Porto Santo and has access just a few meters from the beach. We just love the place with all-inclusive to relax and be off duty
