The Sumba Hospitality Fund initiative is so wonderful, and the students went above and beyond to take care of us and make our stay very special. The rooms are very unique and the food ans drinks are all delicious (a lot grown in their own farm) and food included in the price. The outdoor bathroom is super cool. The scenery is very relaxing and the beach is just a few steps away. The location is far away from everything but that's part of why we chose to stay there. It's really peaceful and Blandine's cooking skills are truly next level! You won't stay hungry, trust me :) We hired a driver that was recommended to us and we're very happy with his service too. It's so worth it to go on a day trip and explore nature in East Sumba! The tide was very low during our stay, so unfortunately a snorkeling trip wasn't possible. In the end that didn't bother us because overall the time at Sumba Dream ecoresort was just perfect. Thank you so much, Blandine and Laurent!

Lelewatu Resort Sumba features free WiFi and rooms with air conditioning in Watukarere. Everything! We were wowed by everything in our bungalow/villa. The best view ever! Blue ocean, breathtaking sunset, thousands of stars in the night sky. The villa was really private, bed was very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely love to come back in the future!

Anna, the manger made incredible food, sang and was so charismatic. I really couldn’t recommend this place any more. The rooms are fantastic, super cozy bed and incredibly peaceful.
