The Deluxe lake view room was beautiful, well appointed with very comfortable large bed, excellent views of the garden and lake beyond, from a loggia which had enough room for chair and desk. My mother requested an upgrade at her own cost and her Castle Room was just wonderful, spacious with excellent amenities, a seating area which doubled up as a lounge area and a Loggia and separate spacious balcony area - very much worth the additional cost. There was very much attention to detail, such as beautiful furnishings and little details such as eco coffee pods for the machine, which we very much appreciated. The grounds of the hotel are absolutely gorgeous and linked to the grounds of the sister hotel, The Hotel Royale. The Ermitage is beautiful hotel, very quite, beautifully decorated and the dining experience very much what we would expect from a quality French restaurant. None of this would mean anything without the wonderful hospitality of the staff. All individual staff members had a lovely approach, with typical French manners, discreet and gracious service throughout. In particular, the gentleman who assisted us with room change for my mother was particularly attentive and supportive with our needs as was the young woman serving us in the restaurant on Sunday evening. However all members of staff were wonderful and attentive. Absolutely, faultless service throughout. We cannot wait to return to the Hotel Ermitage and Evian and thank you so much for making my Mother's birthday so special. Cosy and well furnished apartment in the centre of Mottaret. 1 minute walk from the free bus stop and local shop, 2 minutes to the ski lifts and main restaurants. Warm and quiet with a big comfortable double bed. Good variety of facilities available including coffee machine, hairdryer, etc. Host was very engaged and friendly.

Food especially if brought frome the local market which is less than a minute walk on certian days will not disappoint !!

Featuring a lift, this property also provides guests with a children's playground. Free WiFi is available and private parking can be arranged at an extra charge. Wonderful apartment. Newly refurbished. Very comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped. Good sized TV - took our Firestick equivalent. TV also in the bedroom. Two single beds but was made up as one King Size. Good wifi. Very friendly host. Lovely view of Mont Blanc. Great location - one floor up from reception - next to the lift and stairs (but very quiet), 3 floors up from the ski lockers. If you have not been to 1950 before it is completely ski in/ski out so the apartment block is in a perfect location for the slopes. Nothing is more that a 2 minute walk away in the village. We have been to Les Arcs 1950 many times and this is the best apartment we have stayed in and would definitely stay again.
