I don't regularly write reviews due to limited time. But for this particular stay it is worth devoting my time and more. Together with my wife and 2 children we traveled all over Northern Palawan for over 2 weeks trying to stay in the best accommodations available. Luckily we booked 2 nights at the Sunset Beach resort as well. Its German owner is one of the happiest, kindest and most consistent people I have ever met. He has created a wonderful accommodation, in a privileged position on the island. Everything is spotlessly clean, the pool amazing and similarly clean, the food great and all the people working there kind and caring with smiles on their faces. What more could anyone ask for! Even in a small accident we had, he helped us like a brother. Roberto we will never forget you and thank you for everything. The property was even more beautiful in person. A hidden gem for those who want a pure island experience. It’s situated in such a peaceful and private beach. The rooms were way bigger than we expected, air conditioning is cold, and the bathroom was clean and had good water pressure. Foxy’s Beach resort is just outside the town of San Vicente on a beautiful stretch of beach. If you like peace and quiet this is the place for you. You can swim in the ocean then walk a few feet to swim in the large pool at the resort. Michelle and Brian (owners) are great hosts and their staff work hard to accommodate your every need. You can arrange to rent a scooter through Michelle which will allow you to explore the area further, particularly Long Beach which is a must to see.
