Roxanne and Cleo who work with Robert are truly amazing and loving locals who care a lot about the Sweet Retreat and the guess. Seeing them everyday made us very happy and they really know Bequia very well. I highly recommend staying at the property. It was great meeting Robert (a fellow Brit) he really has spent two decades transforming this property into something amazing. See you again soon!

Great room with a fabulous view from the terrace! The room was super clean, with a huge bathroom, convenient kitchen, seating area and a very comfortable bed. The Gingerbread is a very short walk from town, everything on the Belmont Walkway and Princess Margaret Beach. (Almost all of the island is in walking distance, if you like to go for a morning walk before hitting the beach.) The manager and staff were lovely and a joy to interact with. I had a fabulous time!
