Sunset View Inn L.L.C offers pet-friendly accommodation, ONLY ON REQUEST, in Alamo. Free WiFi is featured and free private parking is available on site. Had to make an overnight break on a road trip and coincidentally landed here. Very friendly and helpful staff. The lady at the reception asked if we’re light sleepers and when I said I am, she gave us a room in the back, not facing the highway. Room was very clean, beds were comfortable. Each room seems to be designed in a different theme and also the reception area and hallway looks different than the standard motel that all have the same boring look. The low price was also a big plus and gave the impression that the owners are not as greedy as most of their fellow motel owners.

Located in the high desert town of Alamo, this motel features guest rooms with free Wi-Fi. BBQ facilities are offered on site and free coffee is provided in the lobby. Las Vegas is 158 km away. Host was very nice. Also there is as a very nice patio area with patio furniture outsidevthevfront of the motel

Too bad we were just passing through. Would have not minded to stay another day or two if our schedule permitted it. The breakfast nook is also cozy and food is freshly cooked. I can’t give enough praise for this property. We appreciate as well her recommendation on visiting local attractions.

Sarah was a wonderful host and provided great information about the town in general and about the best local places to shop and eat. The nearby state parks provide good hiking opportunities with good variety. Pioche is perfectly located for easy access to the parks.

The place is a classic mid-century roadside motel that has been really nicely freshened up inside. We were in the area attending the County Fair, about 10 minutes from the hotel. The place was easy to find, check in was simple, and the room was spotlessly clean. Beds and linens were clean, good quality, and comfortable. Plenty of hot water, and a great water pressure in the shower. 100% what we needed.
