The room was cozy and rustic, with a spectacular view of the meadow behind the hotel and the Green Mountains. Be sure to get some of the home-made muffins at breakfast.

The owner was helpful directing us to local restaurants. He gave us a free night because his hot water tank was not functioning properly (the intense rain on Saturday flooded it). He was extraordinarily ethical! The room itself was large and spacious and had lots of seating.

We had a large room with free wifi, the beds were comfortable and there was a back door out to the communal grassed area where there was a large firepit which was lit in the evening so that you could sit around and meet fellow guests which was nice. Continental breakfast was good and parking outside door. There were eating places not too far away.
