Set in Terlingua in the Texas region, Camp Elena - Luxury Tents Minutes from Big Bend and Restaurants has a balcony and mountain views. There was a lot of thought put into those tents. Really cool construction and thank God it withstands the wind!

Extremely well appointed, unique local architecture, interesting and cozy design and layout. I LOVED the shower room, the king sized bed was outstanding to sleep in, and, many thoughtful and quality amenities were provided , including an outdoor fire pit for stargazing. Finding the property and parking were so easy. I felt safe there, although these west Texas towns are rough and hardscrabble. Good privacy. The host was very cordial and responsive. Finally, it’s about as close to the Big Bend National Park entrance as you’ll get if staying outside the park. Enthusiastic 5 stars!

Offering an outdoor pool and free WiFi, Terlingua Ranch Lodge is a 425-acre resort located in Terlingua,Texas, 55 km from Big Bend National Park. The location is unbelievable, one of the best places I’ve ever been, room was spacious and clean, comfy beds, food was good in the restaurant, all reception and restaurant staff were very friendly, the views from the rooms are out of this world.

Based on Google Maps images, I was a bit afraid that the hotel would be outdated. But there was nothing to be afraid about. This hotel has exceeded all expectations. Check-in was smooth and staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was very spacious with a comfortable bed. We loved the "Old West" vibe in the hotel. Due to the proximity of Big Bend National Park and State Park, the hotel was incredibly silent at night and offered excellent night skies, which resulted in excellent sleep. I cannot wait to go back someday!
