We stayed over for the first time this year just after the Easter break. Our experience at Mbuluzi was the most relaxing and unexpectedly wholesome retreat we have ever enjoyed. We highly recommend this place for its exceptional service and hospitality. So pleasant! The ambiance immediately conveyed a sense of tranquility and privacy, making it the perfect escape. We no doubt had the best sleep there out of all the places we checked-in during our journey around the South. The most restful stay, so far! The house we stayed in was a sanctuary of comfort and relaxation. Impeccably clean and thoughtfully designed, it provided an ideal private retreat, and a wholesome homely experience. Whether we were enjoying a peaceful moment in the beautifully landscaped gardens, long walk through the nature reserve, or unwinding in the cozy lounge, we felt completely at ease and rejuvenated. Also loved having a private pool! Private everything quite frankly, as the houses are quite far apart from one another. Felt like we had no neighbours 😊 Overall, it’s really the ideal place to fully unwind and enjoy your time. I would also like to commend the staff, and genuine care and willingness to go above and beyond, which truly created a wholesome and welcoming environment. We highly recommend Mbuluzi to anyone seeking a serene and enriching getaway, and we look forward to returning in the future. Thank you once again for providing such a wonderful experience. Located 7 km away from Simunye, Hlane Royal National Park offers accommodation at different two camps on a 22,000 hectare game reserve The main camp, Ndlovu Camp, hosts the reception services, the... We were definitely able to connect with nature. There's no electricity in the rooms, but there are nice lamps for you to use to light up the room and walk around the park during the night. The dinner was great. It was buffet-style and there were quite a few options to choose from, and the cake was really good. It had a really nice light custard sauce that you can drizzle on top. That with a cup of hot rooibus tea was an amazing way to end the evening. The sunrise drive was my favorite part. Nelly was a great guide. He was funny and he made learning about the animals fun.

Nestled in the Lubombo Mountains, Mabuda Guest Farm has been described as “the place of dreams”. This working farm offers a range of self-catering, country style accommodation. This was a true gem to find. Living on a coffee plantation sure has it's benefits as the coffee they make from their own beans is unbelievable. The only regret we had was that we did nit stay 2 days as to 1. Very peaceful surroundings and good hiking trails. Staff was very friendly and accommodating despite our late arrival. Will definitely recommend Mabuda guest farm to all my family and friends.
