A magic place. It is a very special experience to have a great memory of Slovenia. There is nothing not to like. I would repeat St.Daniel without a doubt. Totally recommended for anyone looking for a unique and unforgettable experience. Thanks so much!

Boutique Hotel Grahor har en utomhuspool och ligger i Dane, nära Sezana och bara 15 km från Trieste i Italien. Hotellet erbjuder eleganta rum med luftkonditionering, minibar och eget badrum. Finaste lyxigaste hotellet jag någonsin bott på. Betalade inte mer än för ett random hotell, men rummet jag fick var större än mitt boende hemma. Finaste lyxigaste frukosten jag någonsin ätit. Fantastiskt skön och stor säng.

Set in the heart of the Lipica stud farm with over 300 Lipizzaner horses, Hotel Maestoso offers elegant ensuite rooms. Some of them have balconies overlooking the nearby golf course. Really cool and stylish hotel in the peaceful and lovely place of Lipica - we booked it quite accidentally to stay overnight during the road trip. However, we were really surprised by big beautiful surroundings, horses and very nice breakfast. They had filter coffee, wonderful fresh croissants, good amount of fruit and vegetables etc. Will come back to this place for a full scale vacation to have a proper social detox and time with nature.

Škerlj Wine Estate ligger i Tomaj och erbjuder boende med gratis privat parkering. I varje boendeenhet finns ett eget badrum med en dusch, gratis toalettartiklar och hårtork. A real gem. We received a wonderful welcome from Mirjana, who greeted us with a glass of her fine Teran and we felt instantly at home. Skerlj is a historic wine estate which goes back six generations to 1788; our room was cosy and full of character with beautiful old furniture. Delicious breakfasts with homemade eggs, local jams and honeys etc. Mirjana gave us some excellent recommendations for dinner both nights. A lovely place to wind down and enjoy the atmosphere with the friendly cats and elderly dog. Thoroughly recommended, we can’t wait to return!
